2 /5 Chang: I was very disappointed with the lash lift service that I received today. I have been to this place to do lash extensions with Amanda the Master Lash Technician and have always had a really great experience. She’s always prompt, careful and gentle. However, today I booked last minute and picked the “choose anyone” option and was placed with someone at random.
The technician that did my lash lift was quite unprofessional. During the first half of the lash lift she had her hair dangling on my face while she was doing the lash lift on me. It was quite uncomfortable. I also felt like the service was quite rushed and occasionally felt stinging in my eyes. Towards the end she was using a tool to do something to my eyelashes and ended up plucking an eyelash out which hurt a lot more than normal because of the lash lift chemicals.
Not only that, at the end she put on a lash essence which I did not mind but then put on a mascara that was meant to support my lash and can be taken off with water on for me that I did not want. I wanted to refrain from exposing my lashes to water for a good 12 hours at least and now I won’t be able to do that as I’ll have to wipe the mascara she put on with water. I wished I was given an option.
If you’re thinking of booking with beauty fairy, I would highly recommend you going with a Master Lash Technician because then your comfort will be guaranteed. I will be trying a lash lift again but I will definitely book a different lash technician.
