Williamstown Rocks - VIC

Travel Guru A nice spot to get panoramic views of the beach and the surrounding area. Many scenic and tourist attractions to explore nearby. The beach is an excellent option for an afternoon swim or just chilling on the sand. However, it can get really busy on the weekends and particularly during warm weather.

Newport Railway Museum - VIC

Jessica Lee Great museum, really good amount of information presented in easily readable forms. Easy to understand. We spent a couple of hours here and went to the opening of certain carriages that require volunteers present. Concession discounts available. street parking out front, toilets inside. I encourage donations if financial able. They’re in the process of restoring some locomotives which could be exposed to the elements so it would be great to extend the roof area more.

Docklands Sunset Point - VIC

Ravindi Kavmini A nice place to see the sunset and relax. You can either take a walk or see the sunset through skyscrapers. And the view is truly breathtaking. I captured these images in August. And this is one of the most beautiful sunsets I ever witnessed in Melbourne. And Docklands is famous and popular destination.

The Big Coffee Maker - VIC

Henry Leslie-ONeill Found out about this attraction from my fellow reviewers Andy and Nick, figured I’d give it a geeze. Came in with pretty low expectations, I mean it’s just a big coffee maker on a pole right? Wrong. This statue is a testament to all that’s great about Melbourne. I definitely won’t be underestimating any other big coffee maker statues I go to see in the future.

Andrew Murphy Too footy oval for weekend footy. Ground is well kept and a nice view of the city from the top of the hill. There is also a little BMX track on the city side of the park and a kids playground with bbq’s, table and shelter.
