1 /5 Bianca Deryan: I had a terrible experience at this nail salon. The nail technician applied the plastic tips to my nails, but I didn’t like the length and requested to have them adjusted. To my surprise, she refused, saying she couldn’t change them. I was shocked, especially since I was paying $75 for a single-color set that was supposed to be medium length.
Additionally, I was charged $10 for nail removal, even though most other salons only charge $5. She didn’t even use acetone for the removal, instead, she just used a plastic nail to scrape them off, which didn’t seem professional or worth the price.
I explained that I should have the right to adjust the length since she hadn’t even started applying the color yet—only the glue and plastic tips were on. She insisted that any changes would cost extra. At that point, I felt extremely upset and couldn’t hold back my emotions. I told her to take them off because I wanted to leave. It was ridiculous that I was paying for a service and wasn’t being accommodated for something as basic as adjusting the nail length.
