Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre (Museums Victoria) - VIC

Christy Collins Lovely cultural center that shows the diversity of the clans craftsmanship. They have collections of woodworking, basketry and woven goods, utilitarian and for beauty. They also have a collection of wonderful photos of families that show the diversity of todays peoples, with some of their stories. There is a beautiful presentation of their origins story at the beginning of the exhibit that is absolutely stunning.

Australian Sports Museum - VIC

ALANA Hodges Visited Melbourne last month and had to visit the MCG and Museum for my sports mad partner. I’m not hugely into sport but really enjoyed this tour. We had a great guide who had good banter and knowledge. The MCG is amazing… can imagine the atmosphere on game day. Seeing behind the scenes and how big the stadium actually is was very interesting. We only had a quick look through the museum but a lot of history there.. would definitely recommend, even to those not into sport etc.

Alister Clark Memorial Rose Garden - VIC

Greg Moloney Take a stroll through this magnificent rose garden. Even take a thermos and snack a sit and enjoy this garden. Located in the grounds of the historic former Bulla Shire Offices. The garden is free and open daylight hours. If you are there on the right day take the kids (or even yourself) for a ride on a miniature steam train ride located next door.

susan bell Fabulous day. Lots of carparking. Cafe staff really nice. Coffee/toasted vegetable ciabatta and scones perfect. Real cream!! Great to walk around and see latest art displays.
