3 /5 A L: Nice little garden with Prahran market at one end and Greville St at the other end

3 /5 Deano.C._: A nice green park with constant foot traffic and used by dog walkers. The southern side towards the Phraran train is a trendy area popular with photography as it includes a water feature, coloured seats, hanging light instalment, glazed bricks and a range of plants. The centre of the park is quite open with two barbecue plates and tables and chairs. The northern area has a rotunda, two separate playgrounds with slides, swings and climbing areas and a outdoor gym has also recently been installed. Large mature trees create lots of well shaded areas as well as a large open area allowing plenty of sunlight.

4 /5 Anita Harris: What an adorable little park. Not for walkers, but still a lovely little oasis, pretty gazebo, small playground and a few interesting features including some hanging lights up one end. Wander through.

4 /5 Ian W: NICE STRIP OF TREES AND GREENERY IN BUSY PRAHRAN The gardens are a good spot to sit (at one of the many chairs and tables) and have a coffee / lunch. The park borders the Grenville St "village" with lots of eateries nearby :)

5 /5 Ashlee Jayde: Grattan Gardens is absolutely gorgeous and such a versatile space! We attended a Fringe Festival event here, and it had a lovely garden party vibe, complete with a cute bar setup. Beyond the festival area, the gardens extend with plenty of open space, perfect for relaxing or exploring. Despite the rainy and gloomy weather, the lights and pops of color really brought the area to life. Located in the heart of bustling Prahran, it’s surrounded by a vibrant scene with nearby cafes and restaurants, making it easy to grab a bite and then unwind in the park. If you’re visiting during the Fringe Festival, this location is a fantastic choice. There’s a circus tent set up with various performances, from Granny Bingo (which we saw) to circus acrobatics. I love that Parks Victoria supports local talent and art, and the space they create here is wonderful. There’s plenty of heating outside the tent on cooler nights, though it can feel a bit chilly inside until everyone’s settled in. Definitely check out this spot, not only for the beautiful park but also for the work they’re doing to bring Melbourne’s art scene to life!
