Yellow Gum Park - VIC

Patrizia Bordignon I have never seen so many kangaroos in one place. A fabulous walk around the Blue Lake was the perfect way to spend an hour in nature, especially on a crisp autumn day. Not far from home either!

Borealis on the Lake - VIC

John Paul Andrew Castillo Celebrated my birthday with friends at Borealis on the Lake. It was totally worth it. My friends and I initially booked for the latest slot which is 9pm then I received an email that they are changing their operational time and the lastest will be 8:30pm. They also called us to confirm and sent us new copies of our tickets. TIPS and GUIDE when going to Borealis on the Lake: 1. Wear comfortable shoes since you will be there for like an hour. There is a pathway where you can walk around the lake to see the different viees and angles of the lake and the event 2. Wear proper winter clothes as it gets really cold at night. 3. There are some seating area where you can seat and enjoy the view but make sure to check the seats if they are wet or not 4. Be sure to eat first and not to do the same mistake that we did. We plan to get dinner after the event without thinking that restaurants close early and there are no other places to get food, but they have food trucks in there as well. 5. Be careful with your phones and belongings and hold them tightly specially when taking photos or videos of the lights and make sure not to drop them on the lake as the event is literally beside/on the lake. Other than that, it was a really good experience and a recommended activity for you to try. I guess staying there for an hour is the perfect amount of time to enjoy an outdoor activity watching the lights and talking to friends.

Rosehill Park - VIC

Richard T.Whybrow Very large and well-equipped park with playgrounds, gazebos, basketball court, BMX Skateboard park, multiple lakes / ponds. There is plenty of wildlife and a beautiful bridge to cross the wild life lake. Easy access to the park via Rachelle Road where there is a car park, playground, and toilet facilities. There are three lakes which water flows from one to the other lakes and a large footbridge giving you a birds-eye view of the major lake. The park is open 24 hours a day and has excellent wheelchair access.
