5 /5 Mimi Paul: I visit my Sydney acrylic nail technician every fortnight and have done so for 18 years, so when I needed to be in Melbourne for 6 weeks I had to find someone as good. I have a very strict criteria - must use Creative Product and must hand file - no electric files for me. I put my criteria into Google and a few names came up but the numbers either didnt answer or had terrible voicemails. I finally came across Julie and after a brief conversation decided to book 3 appointments, despite the fact her salon was 30 minutes away from where I was staying. Worth every kilometre and every minute of the travel. Julie is truly professional and crafts her art well. Her studio is spotless and a beautiful space in which to be pampered. I also booked myself for a pedicure and if time had allowed I would surely have booked a facial, perhaps even a massage. I thoroughly enjoyed Julies warmth and the many conversations we shared over the 6 weeks I was in Melbourne. I will definitely use Julies services again when in Melbourne and highly recommend her to you.

5 /5 Carol F: Julie at Hands of Elegance is a gem. Her service is excellent, her products are high quality and she knows her stuff. I highly recommend this salon. My artificial nails are natural looking and beautiful. I hate that chunky nail look Ive received in other salons with milky acrylic that is not at all natural looking. One salon even tortured my cuticles and made them bleed. Julies service is second to none and Ill definitely return.

McIlwraith Street is the best - ample parking, great salon and the usual fantastic service. It is a one stop shop for nails, waxing, eyebrows, manicures and pedicures and facials. The best bit is that Julie is a sole practitioner so you always know she will be doing your treatments. She is professional, thorough and very skilled. You leave feeling spoiled. Having been talked into trying acrylic nails I have never looked back. They are elegant, natural looking and ensure my hands always look well cared for and manicured. Have been a client for manicures for over a year with an initial focus on restoring damaged nails. Good quality products mean that my own nails are now healthy. Elegant, too. Our sessions are relaxed and fun.

She uses the best quality gels and it really lasts...3 weeks no issues other than the bare nail growing in...without a chip...and i work with my hands as well as do a bit of DIY. I have also had brows and brow tint...perfect shape and a facial...my skin was amazing afterwards. Quality product, quality job. Plus Julie is a terrific person, truly lovely.
