3 /5 Andrew Bartram: After going here for regular cuts for years, I booked my sister and I in for a cut and style with a months notice prior to my birthday party. When we arrived and explained what I wanted done(which I’d done over the phone) they explained they hadn’t allowed enough time to finish the job and expressed that they only had time for cut. This was obviously pretty distressing as I had my 30th that night and it was already mid day I didn’t have time to find a plan B. After much frustration expressed on my end, they asked me to wait while they did the next girls hair ahead of me and then they would push to fit me in afterwards. In the end it was a rush job and was charged roughly $200 which all in all felt pretty rich given the circumstances. Given the time constraints I had on the day I didn’t feel like I could question this and the hair dresser had already told me a number of times that it was putting her day out her staying back to do my hair and that she had a private appointment she had to get to at 2pm. After years of being happy with the work here I’ve since not gone back and I’m still pretty iffy about trying it again but it does feel harsh at the same time. It just felt like the organisation had gone down hill.
