What Clients Are Saying Liberty Avenue Reserve (GG)
4 /5 Pamela Irish: Lovely to go for a walk with my walker have a chat with others and their dogs
5 /5 Michael Shamgar: Fantastic public park. Free tennis, basketball, cricket nets, oval, short walk to shops, water, playground, etc. Main thing missing are some BBQ facilities, and there might be some nearby...
5 /5 Owen Rackham: Great mix of natural play spaces (trees, grass, scrub) with modern play facilities (basketball/tennis), kids playground, picnic table & benches. Has a bike path through it with a service station (pump, tools etc).
Can often see different native birds flying through (Cockatoos, magpies, rosellas) but be careful during nesting season for Magpie swooping.
2 /5 Stuart Tennison: I dont dislike these courts. I grew up them so I cant say they arent good. But due to the lack of council care, they have worn down and some question the back parts safety. Ive also noticed the weeds growing through the cement and the tennis net has ripped. It would be a great spot if it was looked after.
Sherree Collins Beautiful, stunning beach. I usually set up left of the pier as its much quieter. (I park in the carpark left of the boat trailer car park)
Tip: When your little ones get bored of the beach, there is a lovely community built playground right of the pier.
Absolutely love Rye Foreshore. Safe and shallow for small children, crystal clean water, what more can you ask for.
Note: toddlers may prefer low tide where there are lots of sand banks to play on
Frances Sadler My favourite place to stop with the kids. Ice cream, playground, grassy area, lovely shallow beach. Quite clean and lots of cute dogs to look at. Toilets are quite good. Parking nice at close with reasonable limits. Whats not to love.
Kate Clough Beautiful morning excursion - used AllTrails to guide a hike in through the dunes and out on the beach. Empty for the most part, with lovely vistas and breathtaking surf even at mid tide.
Dale Sheppard Excellent place to visit the beach and blow hole are amazing. Get there early as parking is limited. The walk down to the beach is fairly easy but not wheelchair accessible.
Alexandra A short, scenic walk from the parking area along the road offers a serene experience as you are gently led towards the breathtaking beauty of the beach. The path is peaceful, with the sounds of nature guiding your way, and the striking basalt rocks that line the coastline add a dramatic touch to the landscape. Itβs a perfect spot for a brief but immersive connection with nature, ideal for a quick getaway or a moment of tranquility by the sea.
