Get up close and personal with some of the old aircraft on display, including jumping in the cockpit for that picture perfect moment. Bring a picnic or follow up with lunch at the Flight Deck Bar and Grill down the road for a full day out!

Visitors can explore the cockpits of several aircraft and get a close-up view of the instruments. Theres also a charming gift shop on-site. A true hidden gem in Melbourne, I highly recommend visiting on a weekday for a more peaceful experience without the crowds!

This place is rich in history, packed with vintage commercial, passenger, and military aircrafts, and perfect for both kids and adults. One of the coolest parts is stepping inside some of the old planes—including police ones —which transports you back in time with the aromas of the aged seats! From vintage planes to interactive displays, there is really so much to explore. I would allow at least a couple of hours, if not more. Whether youre a history nerd, an aspiring pilot, or just looking for a fun day out, this museum is a hidden gem that soars above expectations! ✈️
