Marc Reilly If youre a new or relatively new parent, after you come for a play here on a Saturday morning, have a wander around all the various sporting fields. When your little one grows up in about 10 years time thats the kind of place where your all Saturday mornings are going to be with school sport. (This one is pretty good)

Nicky If you like eating Red Rooster chips under a tree, this is the place for you as it’s right next door. Gorgeous native trees, a shrine, a cannon, retro lamp posts and a cottage to look at scattered through the pretty gardens. My dog also loves to come on a weekly sniffari here! Well maintained and quiet.

Zaadie Had a beautiful experience with my baby attending the Heide Baby Class. The museum itself is a hidden gem. Lovely sculptures and landscaping set atop a hill. The story of Sunday and her lover and how the museum came to be was particularly enchanting, and to experience what it is today was captivating. The tour guides were highly engaging for both bub and parents. We learnt so much about the location, art origins and garden. The cafe has an amazing selection of brunch and lunch options. Coffee was delicious. Such a peaceful place. We look forward to visiting again soon ⭐

Natalie Hanau A lovely relaxed green space with walking paths, a dog park, water features, sculptures & picnic areas. Very popular on weekends. Access to Heide Art Museum and the cafe, and toilets onsite. Be sure to check out the exhibitions too.

Ben Cheong Great place to relax, exercise and clear the mind. Heaps of open space without too many people. Rolling hills of nature with great views. Easy to get in 10k worth of steps while enjoying the fresh air. Public water fountains to rehydrate. Multiple different playgrounds for kids, free bbq facilities and toilets. Good for family lunches and kids birthday parties and gatherings.

Afsaneh Gh Heide Museum of Modern Art is a delightful destination that welcomes dogs and offers a beautiful setting for a leisurely day out. You can stroll through the 6.5 hectares of parkland, taking in stunning sculptures while your furry friend enjoys the fresh air. The area by the Yarra River is particularly lovely, featuring shady spots where dogs can even take a dip! The museum itself is rich in history, having While entry to the grounds is free, visiting the galleries requires a ticket.

Tim Richardson "Tram Park" is what all the kids call it. The lawn is not very nice and it has the patch shade that gum trees give, but ... it has a clean toilet, water, bbqs and is over the road from a great cafe and a really good beer & wine shop, and the kids love the tram, the spinning thing which mine call the Tardis, and the little climbing wall. Its a pretty decent place for a bbq with a family group. Car parking and a tram stop.
