Long Hollow Heathland - VIC

Kerbray A pleasant woodland bush area to walk through. Be wary of snakes (with a few signs to alert you to this). Theres a nice elevated wooden path to walk through and a few interesting places within the woodland area. Lots of wildflowers during certain months, and some pleasant dirt path areas through the tress to navigate through. A great place to take the dog on-leash for a walk!

TwistED Science Moorabbin - VIC

Maria Diana Syrakis Visited a few weekends ago with my family. This place is such a great family day out for every one of all ages and abilities. I can not recommend this place highly enough. From the moment you get there, the car park is large and spots are wide, making it easy to access for those who have hidden disabilities. When we entered, there was no wait in line and the staff member who greeted us was friendly and informative. Once we entered the main area of all the STEM related activities, we noticed it was divided up into three age related sections. Each section was fenced and flat, making it a safe environment for all to enjoy and easy for me to manoeuvre around a double pram. As well as this, toilets were clean and easy to access. They have a small canteen area or a gated area where you can enjoy your own food brought from home. The gift shop had such a great variety of activities and the only gift shop I’ve ever been to which was not over priced for what you got. All the staff we met, were so welcoming and genuinely fun/nice. Also, if you are a small ideas member you get a discount, so don’t forget to pre book your tickets.

Elizabeth Ivancic Great quiet spot. Paid parking, but parking app is easy and Great to use. Good fishing pier. Picnic spot on the hill - grass and tables, but looks like everyone likes to parks at the bottom car park, sit in their boots space facing the ocean and eat fish and chips ! Walks along the hillside look great, not been yet. There is a Cafe!

Laura and Charles Ferguson Museum - VIC

Jules K Spent a very interesting hour or so looking at the displays and photos. Peter, one of the museum volunteers, was on hand to answer all my questions. The size of the old bakery ovens was astounding. Anyone over the age of (say) 60 will find this museum brings back a lot of childhood memories. Well worth a visit for sure.

Log Cabin Museum - VIC

Rick Whitehouse In forty years of growing up next to this place, then seeing it regularly whenever I visit my parents, I can honestly say that this museum Has. Never. Opened. I remember having a peek in there in the 80s when the shop (which is no longer there) owner opened it up, and there was some old rusty farming and logging implements in there. But thats it. Ill give it 5 stars because of the beautiful parkb its in and because this place must be under a heritage trust or something.
