Upper Pools - VIC

Koonthos Koonthus This scene exudes a tranquil and almost fairytale-like beauty. The focal point is a rustic wooden boathouse, perched on stilts above a still, reflective pond. Its simple structure, with two small windows, blends harmoniously with the natural surroundings. The reflection of the boathouse in the water creates a mirror image, enhancing the sense of serenity and symmetry. The pond itself is covered in a layer of fallen leaves and lily pads, adding texture and depth to its surface. The dark, calm water reflects not only the boathouse but also the lush greenery that envelops it. The surrounding environment is a vibrant tapestry of trees and foliage. Towering eucalyptus trees reach towards the sky, their slender trunks contrasting with the broad leaves of other trees, some displaying hints of autumn colors in shades of red and yellow. Ferns of various sizes add a touch of prehistoric charm, their delicate fronds creating intricate patterns. The light filtering through the canopy is soft and diffused, casting gentle shadows and highlighting the various shades of green. The air seems still and peaceful, inviting contemplation and a connection with nature. The overall impression is one of a secluded and enchanting sanctuary, a place where time slows down and the beauty of the natural world takes center stage. Its a scene that evokes a sense of calm, wonder, and a deep appreciation for the quiet beauty of a hidden gem.

Fitzroy Market - VIC

Paul M Cool market for secondhand and vintage goods. We walked around a bit and checked things out. They had some little food things and trinkets, cool t-shirts and clothes, and 80s music playing in the background. It felt like the clothes were fairly well curated in the sense that it wasnt just a bunch of old junk clothes, there were themes to each area and a lot of it had an alternative edge to it which was nice.
