2 /5 Juliet Palleschi: I’m really sad to have to put this up here but this was probably one of the most painful nail experiences I’ve ever had. The staff asked whether I wanted a manicure which I kindly replied no. She then looked my nails again and said I think you should get a manicure, and I said it’s all good, I just want sns and tips as I don’t have the extra money at the moment to spend on a manicure. Afterwards, she started cutting at my cuticles SO harshly, it was like she was ripping at the skin. It was so painful and caused nearly all my nail buds to bleed. I subtly mentioned that my nails were bleeding which she only acknowledged after I said something. She tried to wipe it down but the nails were bleeding quite profusely. She then made me wash my hands because the blood was dripping onto my nails. It was so painful I nearly started crying. I wasn’t sure what to do as I hate sounding rude or ungrateful but it was such a horrible experience. My nails continued to bleed later on, and have been throbbing since I got them done which was 20 hours ago. They are still red raw around the cuticle. They are still in a lot of pain and it was also disappointing to see a lack of empathy from the staff. I paid for my nails in full price when several ladies were aware of how much they made my nails bleed. I am quite nervous that I might get a nail infection. Was sadden by this experience as I had heard nothing but great things about this store.
