666Spook I walk here frequently with my hell hound. Plenty of deadly snakes in summer. I saw a young man fighting a big gumtree, he was slashing its trunk with a box cutter.

Peter Campbell Nice park with large open green space next to Merri Creek. Large open roofed building good for barbecues and picnics. Their is a narrow sealed shared trail through it that bikes and pedestrians can use but its poorly marked. Off lead area for dogs.

The night I booked, I was the only person - Hugo kindly offered me the following day with a group, a refund or a unique private tour. Due to schedule, I was unable to rebook so went for the personal tour. Hugo was very knowledgeable and great company for the evening. He tailored the tour so l had the best experience ever. We were welcomed at all restaurants and bars visited which enriched the evening. At the end of the evening, Hugo marked off all the places wed visited on a map so I was able to return at my leisure. This tour is a definite must whilst in Melbourne and my favourite one of them all. Thank you

Lin (AntipodalLin) An incredible treasure looked after by a terrific group of volunteers. A fascinating insight into a world long gone. Beautiful restored rooms, some rooms in the process of restoration and lots of knowledgeable volis on hand. And grab a cuppa across the road while youre there.
