5 /5 Jackie Brown: A beautiful spot for a walk.
Wattle bloomed early this year 2024. Best time is late August to Early September.
A nice easy walk.
Large playground for children.
4 /5 Martin Witchard: Expansive, but not particularly attractive park. Theres an amazing kids playground with a tram theme, scattered wooden sculptures of local wildlife and a handsome building (called a chalet) at its core. Plenty of options to walk or run.
4 /5 Nurcihan Körpe: The walking area isn’t very long, but it’s a beautiful park with very old and majestic trees.
5 /5 Mahdi Dehghan: Great park..not huge but great for a walk around with the dogs. Some tracks in the park which make it feel like your walking out in the bush which is nice. Dogs on leash only
5 /5 Daniel: Really nice, quiet park. Great for a quick getaway to get out of the city while not actually leaving the city. Not busy at all when I went, only saw two or three other people there.
D Yas Stunning little garden perfect for a short stroll or enjoy a lovely picnic on the manicured lawn, picnic tables or benches around the park. The informatiom boards were a great read learning a bit of history whilst enjoying a walk to break up the day.
Cecilia Wong Nice park land with a good playground and a large oval for kids and dogs to run around. Close parking too. Park is connected to a series of other parks so you can go for a nice long walk. Heaps of dogs and runners and cyclists though so it can get very busy. Cafe right across the road has decent coffee and an outdoor seating area. Overall lovely area to visit. Look forward to next time.
Shai N Its just about 5 minutes drive from the murrumbeena pharmacy. Its a small park with restroom, kids play area and nice seating arrange.
I made full use of the snakes and ladders like the kid i am at heart. However, I do request the council to re-paint that because the numbers are almost faded.
Also liked the snake sculpture to complement the space.
Surely a good space for kids and adults to walk and relax.
michelle dilks Beautiful space for the kids. Easy to get to. Signage around the park is great. The toilets are clean, nice and close to the playground. Definitely going back with my kids again.
John Locke A nice area for sports in the cricket field, walking dogs, running, cycling and picnic. There are also a playground and walking trails which cyclists also ride along, so be careful.
Remember to visit the nearby Burke Road South Wetland and Gardiners Creek Trail as well because there are lovely swans, ducks, butterflies, bees and flowers.
Zainab Hassan Really nice place with a small lake and toys for children to play it also has a nice walkway around the park which is perfect so parents can exercise and have a nice time while children play their soul out ❤️
Kerbray A beautiful walking trail with easy access for all ages. The trail was great for walking, running or cycling, and fantastic for taking your dog both on and off leash, depending on the area of the reserve. The walk can be shortened, or continue all around the creek. There are several car park places available, and lots of picnic areas and a childrens playground.
Justina Advocate (ClĂŻnkerMĂĽncher) So lovely here, very like being in the bush. A suburban oasis of scrub and trees attracting the beautiful fauna and insects and melded with some great walking tracks with effective exercise, including rolling hills. I really like wattles of all kinds, and there are some great specimens here. The view to the north is amazing.
