Simon C Looked for a hair salon for my mother who lives locally and uses a wheelchair. Theres a step here which means she cant even make it in the front door. Pity, the location is good, she goes twice a week and spends thousands a year on her hair, but clearly they dont want her business or anyone else who uses a wheelchair.

Lauren Elizabeth I received a French tip pedicure here but was left quite disappointed. I wish I hadn’t spent $140 on a place that had no experience in French tips. They did try a few times which I appreciated and asked if it was okay but, it’s not my job to explain how to do it so I just said it was fine in the end, I couldn’t stop half way through a pedicure. I’ve not had an issue at any other place but the tips are quite uneven and it just looks like I did it myself.

Dani Raulli Today I had booked in for what I thought was a double massage in a double room with my husband. This is what I had originally booked in for three weeks ago when our appointment was canceled last minute due to apparently not having enough therapist on for that day. We arrived today & my husband & I were both taken to separate rooms, when I asked why we were not together I was told the room was booked by someone else even though I had originally booked it. I then taken into a serate room that had windows surrounding it with just pull down blinds which were not block out at all. The room was lit up like a Xmas tree but the icing on the cake was the fact that I could hear all the noise from the cafe or restaurant next door. I spent the next hour listening to people laughing & being so rowdy, glasses & plates banging which was not at all relaxing. At one stage I couldn’t hear the music that was playing in the background! This was by far the worst experience I have had & I’ve had plenty of massages. To top it off being a Sunday you pay extra for any service! I will never return to this store & the receptionist didn’t even have the decency to ask how we we went, clearly they don’t care. Do yourself a favour & stay well away from this place. PS the one star is purely due to the fact I couldn’t leave this review without giving them the one, but I would give them a big fat ZERO star.

Upon walking in, you’re immediately transformed into a relaxing retreat space, completely leaving the busy high street atmosphere behind you. From the smells and decor to the lighting and colour scheme, this place instantly makes you feel good. After checking in, the staff take you upstairs to the waiting room and you’re offered some warm fruity tea and water while you wait. I didn’t have to wait long before my therapist, Kat greeted me to take me into the room. I have searched high and low for a place that can deliver firm massages that will not only relax me, but also bring relief to a lot of my tense and achy muscles. Let me tell you, Kat delivered that. She was knowledgeable, skilled and such a lovely person throughout the entire experience. I walked out of there with months of tension released and my head feeling light as a feather. I cannot wait to go back and I’m definitely requesting Kat again! Kat, if you read this, thank you for such an amazing service and for all the advice you gave me!

Lauren Siegel After years at Brow Theory only seeing one therapist Dolly, I was told today for the first time in the most rude way by the receptionist that I can’t be guaranteed my requested therapist as they are busy and “no one gets special treatment.” This information could have been relayed in a proffesional manner without rudeness and certainly not in front of other clients. I was mortified by the way I was spoken to after supporting this business for years. I have decided to go elsewhere where there will be less rudeness and a little more accomodation as a loyal client to a small business. If you are looking for just another brow bar go to Brow Theory but, if you are looking for service care and a welcoming space where your clinician gets to know you and your needs go elsewhere.

I have “difficult” hair that is resistant to many colours but Mel has managed to keep it constantly looking great. Mel does the best blow drys that last me a week! Sylvia Liang Just had my hair done this morning by Chris. He was so far the best hair dresser that Ive discovered around this area since Ive moved to Armadale half year ago. I just needed an overall trim and a fringe trim, hes done a perfect job within 45 mins, and I love the length of the fringe, finally short enough compare to any other hairdressers who have done the same thing for me in the past months. Chris is super friendly and the price is reasonable too! From now on this will definitely be my go-to hair salon for as long as I live in Armadale!
