5 /5 Shirley Lin: Wow! I haven’t tried many Persian restaurants before, so this was genuinely life changing. Food was delicious and unlike anything I’ve tried before. The ambiance and decor was so cool, it felt really authentic - especially the huge wooden entrance. Our server, Sofia, was very accommodating, when we accidentally booked the wrong amount of people she was able to fit us in at a bigger table with zero fuss. She was very attentive and overall helped make the experience 5 stars! I had a great meal and will definitely be returning.

3 /5 Stan: The restaurant itself is beautiful, and a step into time of traditional Persian surroundings. The flavour of the meat in the kebab was really nice, but as a dish, for what you pay, is not great value and quite expensive for such a simple put together. The staff were not friendly, and not rude, but it was odd, but it would be nice if they checked into the tables every now and then to make sure things are okay, as it felt we were annoying them every time we waved to get their attention for something. Overall, nice place, but overpriced for what you get.

3 /5 Goli: The stews and broad bean dill rice with braised lamb shank are delicious. Kebabs are okay. The dip platters are good and served with traditional barbari bread. Tea is nice, though the selection of baklava and nougat is rather bland. Nice place to try Persian food if you are new to the cuisine.

2 /5 B R: i came here on a saturday night with 2 other friends and we had a reservation. it took us a while to order our food as we only saw two waitresses on the floor. they brought our entrees out quickly but it took 1 HOUR to get our mains. we ordered our food at 7.50pm and didnt get our food till about 9pm. even the waiter was surprised when we said we are still waiting for our mains, we honestly think they forgot about us. i even noticed customers from other tables having to go to the front for help and to get the waitresses attention. i understand weekends can be busy but i am sure 90% of tables made a booking as there were multiple large groups. this means on nights where you expect a lot of people you have to have enough staff to serve them all. the mains were okay but for what you got and the price i dont think its very worth it. also surprised they charge for bread as most middle eastern restaurants give you free bread for the table even free top ups. i like the interior design of the restaurant and the atmosphere but i honestly would not come here again. the poor service was a great let down. i also dont understand why they have the iranian dictator displayed on the wall....

5 /5 Normandy C Jr: AliQapu is in a great location on High Street, Kew. As you step through the giant wooden doors in the front, you are transported to an atmosphere reminiscence of ancient Persia. The service is exceptional with attendants providing friendly, warm and professional manner. The food served is unbelievably tasty and the value is magnificent, especially when you order the Banquet. With bookings being accepted, there is no wait time. This is a definite Persian Gem serving the lucky people of Kew with this winner!
