5 /5 Ysabel Plath: The crispy pork banh mi Ive had from Banh Mi Central could be the most delicious one Ive had here in Melbourne! The crispy pork was very flavorsome, the bread roll was soft on the inside and had a nice crunch on the crust, the pate was superb and the vegetable fillings rounded off the banh mi nicely. My daughter had the lemongrass chicken banh mi and rated it highly too. So glad there are barista made coffees here too. Definitely a great breakfast/lunch option in the area that Im looking forward to visiting regularly!

5 /5 B T: The staff were so lovely and welcoming when I came in with some friends a week after opening day. Was so excited to finally see a Vietnamese Banh Mi shop open locally. We ordered three different types of Banh Mi (Crispy pork, Grilled pork and Tofu) filled with toppings which definitely left us feeling full. The bread was a little too crispy/dry and would have loved for it to be more aromatic. Still good nonetheless :) I can’t wait to see this small business grow and add more flavours like the traditional Vietnamese Ham Banh Mi! I’ll definitely be back.

1 /5 Maikurovo X3: Staff is very friendly however that doesnt excuse the fact that they gave me Stale bread. I purchased 3 banh mi, 2 pork crackling and 1 lemongrass chicken and all 3 of them had stale bread. I wished i took a photo of them before i ate it but unfortunately i will have to show you a photo of it in the bin, as i forgot to take it before and wanted to show how stale the bread is. Im a person that doesnt like throwing out food and tried to force myself to finish it and could only eat that much until i threw it out. My other 2 friends threw it out in another bin after just having 1 bite out of it. -bread was stale (should have been thrown out not served) -for the pork cracking ( it was not crackling basically very soggy) -for the price it is very overpriced -stuffing was very flat -pork was very dry and cut very thickly -pickle carrots was good but that was the only good part of banh mi -i had high expectations and wanted to support locally but this bread was just terrible Iv tried alot of banh mi all my life but iv never been served stale bread before Add in* Im glad that you replied, all i can say is if the bread was delivered fresh each day you need to have a discussion with the bakery as i assure you that the bread i was given today was not fresh. Additionally i recommend the pork to be cut into small sizes as it was too dry. Cracking wise i would recommend for you guys to buy crackling separately and put some in to try to make the pork banh mi consistent as when i purchase it today i was not given a heads up. You guys were nice and if the banh mi was good today i would have left a good review instead of this as i really want to support locals but i was greatly disappointed in the bread above all else. The pork i can bypass but what really made me go so far as to leave a review is the bread itself. You need to talk to the bread supplier about it as it was definitely not fresh.

3 /5 Dave David: Been here a few times, I had to come back and change my original review. The bread is always super crunchy which I love but I have found that the crispy pork is always a bit dry. Im not sure if its overcooked or just dried out from sitting out but its not the best And even with extra meat, the rolls are lacking filling. Service is always great, very friendly staff and the place is always clean.

I definitely didnt mean nor realise how my comment can be interpreted to ruin a business reputation. I sincerely apologise again and will rethink about how I leave a review. As a professional business however, commenting "youre hard to satisfy" wasnt the way to go. I gave my 100% honest opinion on what was given to me. ------------------------------- Came here for the first time to try the crispy pork banh mi and unfortunately, the banh mi did not taste good. The pork was tough and lacked flavour. It was hard for us to chew. Bread was a bit tough but I understand its not house made. The skin however, was nice, thin and crispy. Most spots their skin would be crispy but hard to eat however, this place has nailed their skin. The pate was okay, if the pork had more flavour then the pate would pair well with the pork so it doesnt overwhelm the flavours but since the pork lacked flavour it was a miss. Sauce was okay, needed a bit more punch. Service was good, very friendly staff.
