Western Rolls - VIC

Sangeeta Poonam The chicken bowl was amazing and also the chicken rice paper rolls was superb. Both went well with the sauce they provided. They didnt have rolls anymore because we were a bit too late but the food is delicious here and would definitely go again for their chicken roll.

Rombe Rooftop - VIC

Wickd Chin Love the rooftop setup with the glass house concept. Lots of natural light and beautiful decor, operated by a cast of pleasant and friendly staff. Food is also great to match! We had the Salmon Pastrami, Chili Scrambled and Breakfast stack. The breakfast stack did surprise us - its basically a breakfast burger. So, dont get caught out! Due to the glasshouse design, the place to warm up quickly. So, be warned!

Ichiro Izakaya Bar - VIC

Y A As a Japanese person, I can confidently say that this restaurant is one of the best places to eat Japanese food in Melbourne! My top recommendation is the salmon chirashi, its reasonably priced and comes with plenty of salmon, which makes me really happy:) The grilled mackerel is also great! You should definitely give this place a try!

Discovery Fusion BBQ Buffet 炭所 - VIC

Eat Play Everyday There are so many Asian bbq restaurants in Melbourne, this is one of the unique ones as it is an unlimited BBQ SKEWER fusion all you can eat! Feast on an array of skewers, featuring various wagyu beef cuts, marinated seasoned options, lamb and even seafood fish skewers! There is even a section with veggies, tofu and fish balls too. The unique bbq grill self rotates the skewers, so you spend more time enjoying your food. There are also marinated cuts of meat too that you can simply grill on the hot plate. Hot food options too, plus a salad bar and cold cuts. Plus leave room for dessert, I loved the Asian jelly bowls and the DIY toasted marshmallows. There’s live music too with a DJ in the evenings creating a fun vibe. Also loved the robots who serve you your drinks!

Clement Wong Great food and drinks, everything tasted really good and service was friendly. Only small issue was our table was a bit loose and kept wobbling, but overall a very enjoyable experience. Would definitely come back.

Pai Thai - VIC

Racheal Great Thai spot at Burwood One! Tried their new lunch menu and everything was fresh, flavourful, and well-portioned. The char-grilled beef salad and soft-shell crab were standouts, and the drinks and desserts were really good too. The place was busy with a nice atmosphere — definitely worth coming back to try more dishes.

Niuda Beef Noodle Soup 牛大兰州牛肉面 - VIC

Yahui Lin What a great little gem we found at Burwood One Shopping Centre. It’s a small stall with only a few seats, but no worries — there’s plenty of seating just outside. One bowl is easily enough to feed two people. The portions are extremely generous, with lots of meat and a huge amount of noodles. When we asked for more soup, the boss kindly gave us a big ladle, which really added to the warm and friendly experience. The braised beef was super tender. The soup was rich and full of flavour, and the chilli oil brought everything to another level. Best of all, no MSG attack even after finishing the entire bowl of soup. All this for under $20 — our bowl was $19.50 — amazing value for the quality and portion size. A hearty, satisfying meal. We’ll definitely be back.

China Bar Yum Cha & Seafood Restaurant - VIC

Billy Luu Came here for lunch with the family. There 5 of us having yum cha on a Sunday afternoon. The food was good and we definitely enjoyed the selection of food. Everything was tasty and well portioned. I personally really enjoyed the chive dumpling, piggy custard bun and custard tart. The biggest let down was the service. The carts took random paths and some food never came past our table. There was only one trolley worker who noticed we didnt order much food and we told her about the issue, she helped us grab a few plates of food, so we tipped her directly, which then solved the problem, she came by more frequently asked what we wanted and went out of her way to get it for us. Worst part is, all the food she grabbed for us never came past our table, which just shows how bad the problem was. The restaurant and amenities were clean and well laid out. There is sufficient room for you to sit and enjoy your lunch. It just a big let down that there are insufficient trolley pushers during the busier lunch hours. Yum cha is highly dependent on frequency of trollies coming past. It was such a disappointment at the start of our lunch session, but all ended well after we tipped probably the more attentive worker there.
