5 /5 Hungry: food was spectacular- it’s a huge call but the takoyaki was the best I’ve ever had, and the house made seafood okonomiyaki with cheese and carbonara was also so tasty.
We tried the:
▪️Half and Half of Tako & Ebimayo yaki ($23) 5 Takoyaki & 5 Ebi mayo yaki
▪️Seafood Okonomi-yaki with cheese ($23) House made Japanese seafood savoury pancake with prawns and squid with house made bbq sauce, Japanese mayo, shaved bonito and cheese
▪️Linguine Carbonara of Carpenter ($22) Onion, mushroom, parmesan cheese, thickened cream and fresh egg (we removed bacon from ours!)
The dining space was very cozy and intimate, open kitchen, nice decorations, set the mood, great vibes, located close to chaddy. The standout was definite the takoyaki and ebi mayo yaki though, will definitely be back to reorder many plates of this, and I really like the okonomiyaki too! Would recommend for a nice casual feed for good comforting food that’s not overly heavy, but hearty and decently priced.
