Aangan Clayton - VIC

Shalaka Jaiswal Had such a wonderful time at my friend’s daughter’s 1st birthday party at Aangan Clayton. The service was amazing—staff were so polite, attentive, and made everything run smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and everyone enjoyed it so much. Great atmosphere, great hospitality, and overall a perfect place for family celebrations. Highly recommend!

Taiwan Yes - VIC

E L Probably the best Taiwanese food I’ve had in Melbourne. Fried tofu was crispy on the outside had such a beautiful chew on the inside. Perfectly seasoned with some of that delicious chilli / MSG Taiwanese seasoning. Noodles were nice and springy. Braised pork was more savoury than sweet which was good. Also loved their grass jelly with soy milk - not too sweet, great textures on the jelly and pearls, good soy milk flavour. Only small criticism was that the fried pork was a little too sweet, even for someone who usually enjoys savoury + sweet. Otherwise an absolutely fantastic meal. Noting that seating is very limited.

New Paradise Biryani - VIC

this.is_melbourne Tried New Paradise Biryani recently and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The MLA Potlam Mutton Biryani and Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani were packed with flavour and felt super authentic. Also had the Mutton Paya Curry and Crab Fry Biryani—both rich, spicy, and seriously satisfying. The Kaju Chicken Pakoda and Rajahmundry Kodi Vepudu were the perfect starters, and we wrapped it all up with Irani Chai and Bun Maska. Loved the spice, the portions, and the overall vibe. If you’re after proper Telugu-style food in Melbourne, this place is a must-visit. Follow @this.is_melbourne for more hidden gems and food finds around the city!

Anshumann Da Dhaba - Clayton - VIC

chokshi nishad It was a really good experience when i visited on a weekday for a lunch at this restaurant, we had fix vegetarian thali which was budget friendly yet made fresh and flavourful. The staff was behaviour was also good. Among 3 curries which we ordered of paneer makhni, paneer masala and dhaba kadai paneer, dhaba kadai paneer was best.

Pho Hung Vuong Saigon - VIC

Tri Best Phở restaurant in the world! Very balanced broth. I usually get the beef special which has the peppery sausage medallion (dồi), very few places do it. Today I tried chicken special for a change and discovered they make the sausage for that too!

麦麦香 Dumpling Max - Clayton - VIC

Lu “Ins&Tk:deliciousdownunder” Tried Dumpling Max in Clayton M-City and loved it! The dumplings are freshly handmade daily with thin skin and flavorful fillings. We had the prawn & chive dumplings (each with a whole prawn), beef & onion pan-fried dumplings (crispy outside, juicy inside), and the mackerel dumplings which were surprisingly good. Prices are reasonable and portions generous. A great casual spot, especially for students nearby. Definitely will come back!

DPenyetz & DCendol Clayton (HALAL) - VIC

Ash Y Best food I had this month in Melbounre! I came here 2years ago and it was ok and the dried fish was disappointing ~ but I know and sense that it’s an authentic Indonesian restaurant so I came to try again today- it’s amazing! I definitely recommend the Chef Recommended Signature sauce fish to everyone who loves sweet, spicy flavor! It’s very authentic and tastes like coconut in the fish ~ the served chillie source is rice terminator good! I also ordered the fried chicken which was good but KFC good lol it comes with cold shredded onion which adds to the Indonesian style~ the Durian dessert doesn’t disappoint too! It comes with real durian, frozen maybe, but tastes as thick creamy as the good durian~ overall, I really enjoy today’s food!

Elsa S We come here at least once a month. The food here has been consistently tasty and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Would really recommend this place for Chinese style BBQ skewers.

CHUM CHUMS - VIC

Harishilla Ranjan We visit this place every time my cousin is in town from Sydney as its hands down the best Sri Lankan cuisine we have had in Melbourne. The fish patties and cutlets are my personal fave. They always go down a treat, and we are absolutely obsessed with their Kothu. We have even tried their all you can eat menu and everything hits the mark. The bonus and best part is they are open until 12 am so if you are looking for a late night feed Chum Chums has got you cravings covered. Highly recommend them, and I am usually not one for curry however I can certainly see myself going back for their tasty short eats and authentically sri lankan meals.

Malaysia Taste - VIC

Konfusion K Great food and drinks. Generous serving size. Most of the dishes were delicious except the Marmite Sauce with Pork Ribs - the sauce was way too strong and overpowered the ribs. The Prawn Wonton Noodle Soup was okay, not much flavour in both the soup and wontons. The boss, who took our order was very friendly and understanding and apologised when we got served the wrong dish. Will definitely be back to try some other stuff on their menu.
