1 /5 Liam: What a disappointing experience.
I thought I would try a Greek Restaurant somewhere close by as I was driving past the area after my Xmas shopping at Chadstone Shopping Centre.
First and foremost, I waited well over 20 minutes for my food to be ready - there wasnt a single other customer in the store. Whats the go there?
The food itself? What an absolute disgraceful to call this a Greek restaurant.
Your mixed platter for two advertises a Loukaniko - and this is what I received? A tiny piece, for two people? Its barely even a mouthful... What a sick joke!
And the rest of the meat? Absolutely tasteless. The gyros lamb and chicken was way overcooked (as I could see on the spit, I should have known from the start). The lamb and chicken gyros was so overcooked, dry, rubbery and chewy. There was a few pieces that was okay, but it was absolutely disgusting for the most part. Yuck!
The salad was ridiculous, with hardly any feta. How can you call it a Greek salad?
The tzatziki? Oh my goodness. It was absolutely disgusting. Not enough garlic and not enough dill, it tasted like yoghurt with no flavour. And, to add insult to injury, you gave one single small serving of it in one of those small sauce containers - you expect two people to use such little tzatziki? That is offensive!
All of the meat had no flavour. No proper seasoning. I cant believe businesses like this still operate - I wasted $80 on this pack. I am actually quite regretful, as at least my local Greek restaurant can serve quality food. I shouldve just gone there.
Shame on Elenika & Co. Most of the food has ended up in the bin, no lie, as it is genuinely inedible.
