Peter Ooi Tippy Tay opened to a lot of fanfare when it first launched in Melbourne, and the initial write-ups and gorgeous photos quickly put it on my bucket list. That said, more recent Google reviews were mixed, so I went in today with slightly tempered expectations. I’m happy to say Tippy Tay exceeded them on all fronts. The ambiance is fantastic — vibrant, stylish, and full of energy without feeling chaotic. The food was genuinely delicious, beautifully presented, and served in generous portions — the kind that makes you feel you’ve truly had a proper dining experience rather than a “small-plate showcase.” What really elevated the experience, though, was the service. Our server, Nicola, was outstanding. Warm, friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. She made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down and handled everything with ease and professionalism. Easily one of the best servers we’ve had the pleasure of dining with in Melbourne. Based on our experience, Tippy Tay deserves far more credit than some of the lower reviews suggest. We left impressed, satisfied, and already planning a return visit. Highly recommended.

Natasha Lara Such an amazing space! The atmosphere is so calm. Service & food was incredible - we particularly loved the pizza! Great place for lunch with friends, or even with kids! The natural vibes & layout with all the plants definitely gives it a unique touch.

Marjan Khorvash This place is absolutely fantastic. Food is incredible, every dish was thoughtfully designed and menu is perfect for sharing. staff are so friendly and attentive and make you feel welcomed. The dishes were coming out one at a time so nothing went cold, and the speed the dishes were being served was spot on and that’s thanks to a thoughtfully organised kitchen and attentive staff. They have two great outdoor areas for people that prefer it a bit more quiet like me. The lighting outside is dimmed and relaxing , perfect for a romantic date. The chairs are soft and comfortable as well . Can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu.

Pragya Gupta We recently visited @kesaritarneit and absolutely loved everything. The interiors are clean and modern and the food is amazing. We tried the chicken malai Tikka for starters followed by Tawa Paneer + chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and lacha paratha. Let us know if you have visited here.

Vinay Dusari Best place to have South Indian breakfast and rice thalli. All Indian varieties of food available. Sambar, Chutney are very tasty. Dharani in kitchen provides excellent quality food. Very delicious & must visit restaurant with 40-50 capacity seating.

S C-M The food was really nice. I asked for everything mild and they made it perfectly as requested. Unfortunately the cocktails and vege starter platter and chat platter took way too long but it was just day 2 so all good and understandable. The service was nice, friendly staff, the price of items are average, the quantity is good and taste was really pleasing. Its a nice place, family friendly and cosy. I wish the business all the best and success. Thanks for the great service.

Jennifer Foo This is my first time and I do like the atmosphere and environment. I had the egg Benedict which was delicious; the hollandaise sauce had a unique spiciness to it. Coffee was good too. Nice parkland outside if one wanted to stroll a bit. Friendly staff. I will come back again.

Sujoy Kundu I went yesterday for a family dinner. It was my second visit in last 6 months and like the previous one this visits experience was also very pleasant. I made a reservation beforehand but there was enough seating available. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although we had a small accident (a glass fell and broke) the staff was very careful to clean up all the glass around the table and made sure we are safe. Couple of them even tried to cheer my daughter as she was very upset that she broke the glass by mistake. The food was awesome as usual. We tried: Amritsari fish: 5/5 Chicken Malai Tikka: 5/5 Butter Chicken: 5/5 Goat Masala: 5/5 Garlic Naan: 5.5/5 (.5 extra for the size of the naan) Aam Panna: 5/5 (very refreshing) Hope to visit soon again.

Mudassir ALI Biryani is very tasty, full of rich flavour and perfectly cooked rice with tender meat
