Darren Stumbled upon this cafe by chance. Very friendly and attentive staff. Small amount of seating outdoors and plenty inside. I enjoyed an iced latte. The drink was cold, coffee tasty and the drink itself nicely presented. I had the smashed avo with a side of bacon. The meal was beautifully presented with the smashed avo at one end of the single piece of sourdough toast and 2 poached eggs at the other. Plenty of crumbed feta sprinkled on top and a tasty tomato chutney on the side. The meal was really lovely. Lots of other choices on the menu and an extensive sandwich menu for lunch. It’s clearly a favourite with the locals. Definitely worth checking out.

amy moss Ugh, such a cute and cozy spot! The perfect place for a comforting, simple meal that just hits the spot. We ordered the chicken karaage, spicy tonkatsu ramen, and the wagyu shabu-shabu don. The karaage was crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside (exactly how it should be). The spicy tonkatsu ramen was so yummy and creamy, but still on the lighter side flavour wise, which makes it perfect to pair with a few sides. I didn’t personally try the wagyu don, but it was devoured at record speed… so I feel like that says everything. Definitely going back to work my way through more of the menu !!

Tâm Trang the food was good, the pork hock is definitely the star of the show. although i would recommend it for 3-4 people rather than 2 people unless you have a very big appetite. the chared corn we had is not too bad but not anything mind blowing. overall its a good experience

Mark We are staying three nights at the Novotel and love the convenience of the in-house restaurant, but what truly impressed us was the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff and the outstanding food. On our first night we enjoyed Middle Eastern flavours, sharing a Meze platter and a mixed grill platter, beautifully presented, with incredible flavours. As an ex-chef, I genuinely appreciated the attention to detail. On our second night we opted for a classic with fish and chips, which were served hot and crispy, generously portioned, and again perfectly presented. Tonight we’re looking forward to trying the Indian selection and can’t wait. I would highly recommend Meze Restaurant to both locals and visitors. it’s a true example of what great food and service should be.

Catherine Loria A bra our waitress looked after us perfectly and the other staff were also extremely attentive and personable! We chose the feed me menu which was an im pec ile range of dishes that complimented each other and our tastes. The staff really paid attention to our needs and we had a fabulous evening, the food was delicious!

ZHENGHANG YAO I booked the Valentines Day set menu. The ambiance was great, and the staff were very welcoming. Most importantly, the steak and shrimp risotto were delicious. I highly recommend this place for a date.

Kerry-anne Fyffe I ordered catering for a birthday party and the staff were friendly and helpful in deciding what to order and how much to order. The portions were really big and the food was delicious. The next day we realised that they had forgotten our chips and I called and spoke to the manager, she apologised and also offered to come back for a complimentary meal because of the mistake. Mistakes get made but it’s you rectify the situation so very happy and will be back and would recommend for catering!! So much food!!

B H Very delicious food - fresh sashimi and meat, and great atmosphere. Very unassuming from outside but a very well appointed decoration and tables - sufficient space from others. We had a 2h dining cap which was more than sufficient. Black cod fish was a sleeper dish - was incredibly delicious - sorry no pics, devoured it. Fish was flaky and fresh, skin on and well charred and seasoned combined with lovely sauce to bring it all together. Ordered a sashimi and wagyu platter - was very fresh and reasonable - highly recommend!

Jess H. After seeing the high review rating, we decided to come to try. It was fantastic! The food was fresh and lots to choose. Especially love their sashimi! Staffs were very friendly and constantly changed hot plates and cleaned tables for customers. They even gave us a birthday cake for the celebration! Very impressive! We will definitely come back next time!
