Taylah Duff Absolutely loved Sugar Buns! The food was amazing, fresh, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. The prices were fantastic, giving great value for what you get especially the specials. Very big portions for the price and everything else as just delicious, couldn’t finish everything but they do have takeaway! On top of that, the service was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal with excellent service!

nimmi hewawasam I recently tried the banana leaf rice here, and it was honestly the best and best value banana leaf meal I’ve had in all of Melbourne. It was only 19$ and generously portioned, easily enough for two people and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite... The taste was amazing, with seven different curries and vegetables including chicken, fried dry fish, brinjal with dry sprats, coconut sambol, baby jack fruit (polos) and ambaralla. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly balanced.. I will definitely be coming back often. Highly recommended!

It’s so nice to finally have a quality chicken shop in the area again. You can tell they care about what they serve, and it really shows in the taste. Always fresh, always delicious — highly recommend!

Dwac I cant recommend this place enough. Fantastic food for a great price. All you can eat for around $11.50. They normally have around 8 different dishes you can help yourself to. Curries, lamb, chicken, fish, lentils, rice, soup etc. Some meat dishes and some vegetarian. The food is absolutely delicious with interesting vegetables and flavours. They have an option to fill a container and takeaway, but I recommend eating in. The place is fairly small, probably 5 small tables. The restaurant doesnt look much from the outside, but its a gem and I highly recommend it. Very friendly staff too.

asad hussainzada Had the sujuk and egg pastry with a strong latte, both were spot on. The pastry was perfectly baked with rich, savoury flavours, and the coffee had that bold kick I needed to start the day.— both were excellent! Can’t wait to go back and try the pizzas and other pastries. Great spot in Hallam!

Naya Lay Great family-run small business! They make some delicious Chinese food and their sandwich rolls are always made fresh. They do get very busy during lunch so try and go before or after the rush.

Nur Shahirah My comfort place and thai food is always a go-to. I ordered the pad see ew and green curry. Green curry was creamy and pad see ew is delicious. You could ask for a side of chilli if you like it spicy. Simple, delicious and friendly staff. It feels homey when I went on a weekday afternoon and I took my time with the meal.
