The Sandbar - VIC

Ashlee Crisp My partner and I had our engagement party at the Sandbar over the weekend. It was truly magical, we couldn’t have asked for a better night! Callum and the rest of the team were absolutely incredible at running the evening, everything happened so seamlessly. We had so much positive feedback from the guests, they all said how professional, friendly and helpful the staff were. The venue looked SO BEAUTIFUL and we had so many compliments about what an amazing venue it was. There was ample amounts of food, everyone said they were well fed which is exactly what we wanted. We ordered a canapés package, and added wood fired pizzas and chips. And everyone with dietary requirements were taken care of too with no extra costs to us! They allowed us to have an extra 30 mins of set up time and bring our own dessert stand. The communication before and during the event with staff made the event run so smoothly, my fiancé and I were able to enjoy every minute. We truly couldnt have asked for a better night! Thank you so much to the team at the sandbar for everything! You guys were amazing and we had the best night ever!!

Misuzus - VIC

The Guilty Moose - VIC

Deku Samurai The mild spice of Baghdad eggs paired excellently with a milkshake. Both delicious. The gentleman working the counter was both chill and polite, while service was swift and professional. Interior design was inviting yet refined. Quiet, comforting music perfectly accentuated the view of a peaceful street. Its the kind of place I wish I could give six stars.

iTALiAN ARTiSANS - VIC

dean sunshine Not the first time I’ve been here and certainly not the last. Superior pizza and salads and we sat right across from the kitchen so we could see the artisans at work! It’s pretty noisy out back but that does not take away from this excellent energy of this spot.

Chez Bagou - VIC

Alex Very nice food with an authentic French menu. You won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for a real French touch. The wine list is extensive, with a great selection of French wines. If you want a recommendation, the Lirac is a fantastic choice and pairs nicely with both red and white meat. You can also bring your own wine, which is a nice option. The onion soup was delicious and the tartare was very well prepared. Just be aware they don’t have mayonnaise for the fries (French faux pas!) :p Portions are generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. It was a shame we didn’t have room left for the tarte tatin for dessert. The staff were really nice, fun, and very attentive. High chairs available for babies and staff were very accommodating. There is plenty of parking available around the restaurant, which makes it easy to come. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed and satisfying French meal. I would recommend for a romantic dinner, or with friends :)

The Albert Park Hotel - VIC

Gerard Ho This venue on first glance was not expected, on the outside it looks like a plain bar but inside it looks vintage and eloquent. The food was also great, having the scallops, fried rice, bbq pork and mud crab were all culturally appropriate flavouring. Only slight downside was the wait staff taking orders needs to be more present and available. I would go again to this place.

Mediterraneo Charcoal Restaurant - VIC

B M ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mediterraneo Charcoal Restaurant – Exceptional Experience! We’re visiting Melbourne from Perth for a few days, and we chose Mediterraneo Charcoal Restaurant to celebrate my birthday — it was perfect. We had the steak, cevapi, and goulash, and every dish was full of flavour and cooked beautifully. The steak was tender and juicy, the cevapi tasted just like home, and the goulash was rich and comforting. The service was warm and attentive, and they made the night feel special. The charcoal cooking adds incredible depth to the food. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Melbourne.
