3 /5 Tamizh Vaasam: First time at Hutch & Co in Lilydale, and it was a pleasant stop! The atmosphere is really great, vibrant, light, and welcoming with that energetic café buzz that’s perfect for a relaxed brunch or coffee catch-up. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the experience feel warm and easy. I enjoyed my coffee, it was solid and well brewed and the breakfast was good too (nothing mind blowing, but tasty and satisfying). There’s clearly a lot more on the menu worth trying (seasonal specials, build your own options, etc.), so I’m looking forward to going back to explore further and see what else stands out. Overall, it’s a nice local spot with strong basics, but for me, it felt like a 3/5 this time, good enough to return, but not quite a standout yet. Worth checking out if you’re in the area!

5 /5 Amir: This dish was an absolute delight! The plate was beautifully balanced with a generous serving of tender, slow-cooked shredded meat that was packed with flavour and perfectly seasoned. The fries were crisp and spiced just right, adding a comforting crunch alongside the soft, warm pita bread. The fresh greens and creamy dollop of herbed yogurt sauce brought brightness and freshness, while the smoky red dip at the base tied everything together with a rich, savoury kick. Not only was the presentation vibrant and inviting, but each element complemented the others perfectly—crispy, soft, fresh, and savoury all in one bite. A hearty, satisfying meal that leaves you full but wanting to come back for more. Highly recommend!

5 /5 JabZ Zi: Had my first visit to Hutch & Co Cafe today and I was absolutely blown away. The coffee was excellent, the food quality was top notch, and the service was even better. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to catch up with mates or enjoy time with family. Thank you to the team at Hutch & Co for the amazing hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back more often and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great coffee, delicious food, and a chill vibe. You won’t be disappointed!

5 /5 Yao Wang: We sat outside with our staffy and the waiter was very attentive giving us menus and taking our coffee orders straight away. Unfortunately it took awhile for him to come back and get our lunch orders and our coffees took a bit longer as well but food came out straight after so all was good. Food was delicious with big servings. Highly recommend the Chicken Burger and Salt&Pepper squid. Coffees was made with care but if you like strong ask for an extra shot.

4 /5 Gabrielle Mercieca: Amazing staff, who were friendly and attentive to our table :) Food was 4/5, because as much as it was delicious, lacked a little flavour and the portion size for my avo smash was limited, therefore I personally felt like the food was slightly overpriced. Coffee and matcha latte were 10/10, I would definitely go back for hot drinks. Ambiance and atmosphere were great as well!!
