clover cheng Tried the set menu for two and really enjoyed it. We chose the soft Korean rice cakes and the spicy stir-fried octopus — both were full of flavour and very satisfying. The side dishes were excellent and generous, easily the highlight of the meal. Loved that you can pick your own drinks from the fridge too. Great value for a traditional Korean set meal. Would happily come back!

Le Taj Restaurant & Lounge - VIC

Muskanpreet Had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant! The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and full of flavor—one of the best I’ve had. The naan and lacha paratha were perfectly soft and flaky, great for soaking up all the delicious curries. The paneer biryani was aromatic, with just the right blend of spices, and the paneer was soft and fresh. The food was served hot, and the portions were generous. The ambiance was warm, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors!

Honest Reviewer Lovely dinner experience! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. It did take a little while for our meals to arrive, but the team kindly compensated us, which we really appreciated. Great location too, with beautiful European vibes. We’d happily come back again.

Rebecca Thorpe Amazing venue. Delicious food. The Cacio e Pepe toast is insane. Also got the fried squid and chilli crab pasta. Finished with tiramisu, a must have. Good wine and drinks list. Attentive staff.

Raymond Robinson Was here 31 October 2025. What a place! The atmosphere on a Friday night was electric! (Mind you – it was night 1 of Oasis 25!). Quality food and drink. Wonderful management and bar staff who are most welcoming. Service super efficient based on how crazy busy it was inside and out. Seems like a popular place and for good reason! Excellent! *****

Bryce Roberts This place is a funky cosy little pub, come down and see the owner Matt who is a great guy. Meet Roxy the dog, who will bark until you give her a pat. Great to watch the sports on tv, cool background music. Best vibe in a bar ive been to in a long time.

Koi You know you’re in the right place for Korean food when you notice that several other patrons are Korean too, and I can’t wait to be back to sample more of the menu. There is such a wide selection of stews and dishes on the menu that it was so difficult to choose just one. I settled on the ox bone stew (? may not be the actual title) which was delightfully ‘clean’ and it felt like a warm hug from home. Loved that it was served with purple rice, as well as not just a couple, but EIGHT banchan / side dishes. I got to try my friend’s seafood roe stew too, and the flavours were so rich!

Roti Bar Little Collins St - VIC

Joneth great adventure ROTI BAR is a popular destination for Malaysian cuisine in Melbourne, and it can become quite crowded during peak hours, a clear reflection of its strong reputation. Despite the busy atmosphere, the food remains consistently impressive, offering generous portions at reasonable prices. Service is another highlight: the staff are warm, attentive, and accommodating, even when the restaurant is at full capacity. The menu has several standout items. The chicken skewers, the signature 65-spice chicken, and the coconut shake are particularly memorable and easy recommendations. Their fried rice and noodle dishes are also well executed, delivering comforting, well-balanced flavours. The desserts, however, are less remarkable; skipping them in favour of another coconut shake is likely the better choice. Overall, ROTI BAR is a reliable and enjoyable spot to bring friends for a Malaysian dining experience. A final tip: if you can smell the food from streets away, you are almost certainly heading in the right direction.
