Theresia Betha We first went to Bambu Restaurant for Valentines Day. We ordered Salmon Sashimi, Wonton Tacos, Beef Tataki, Chicken Satay, and Char Kway Teow. Everything was super yummy. We totally recommend it if youre looking for Asian food at South Melbourne Market. The service was awesome. It was a bit loud, but thats probably because it was peak lunch time.

Sim Thean (Simon) Went on Friday night. The salsa and bachata classes are fun. Roof top atmosphere is great. Will come again and try a meal next time.

Katie Lindkvist I’ve been here many, many times and went again for a Sunday lunch and once again, it was outstanding. The team are always so helpful and friendly, which just adds to the experience. The freshness and quality of the seafood is second to none. My absolute favourite dish is the mussels, they’re consistently incredible and the reason I keep coming back.

Mark C - Sir Lunchalot I hadnt been to The (FANTASTIC) Olive Tree for many years but it was like coming home. No wonder it has been a Melbourne institution since the early 70s. Tarnia and Sonia (the daughters of the Founder) welcome you in like family and their service throughout the day is exactly perfect (Thank you Ladies) And thank goodness the food matches the same standard. Eight of us dined together and all were more than pleased with their meals. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant as a "must do" And true to my word, I just went back and dined there again a week or so ago. BELLISSIMO !!

Roongrawee Eabsakul Absolutely beyond words. Huge shout-out to Joey and Kelly for their outstanding service — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere matched it perfectly. Great music, generous space between tables, and beautifully timed service. My partner and I ordered the platter for two with a side salad, perfect portions and everything arrived right on time. Highly recommend the “A Pink Surprise” cocktail. It was easy to drink, with raspberry and cherry notes and a lovely fizzy rosé finish. Thank you to both the front and back teams for making our experience so memorable, not just through flavour, but through your kindness and service. It truly meant a lot. Definitely keep coming back! P.S. my Asian folks, don’t skip the Nam-Jim sauce. You never regret!

Jackie Graham I had a wonderful experience at this Argentinian restaurant! The server was fantastic, taking the time to clearly explain each course and offering thoughtful recommendations that really enhanced the meal. The food itself was delicious, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to just sit back and enjoy the evening. A perfect spot for an stress-free dinner with great flavours and attentive service.

Paul Went here for their Monday baby back ribs night and it was Amazing! Food was legit and tasty. The vibes in here are 100%! Decor and the artist wall paintings of all the jungle animals are mesmerising. Their Guinness is on point too. Staff were friendly and attentive. Arjun & Holly looked after us extremely well. Head chef Sailesh even came out to greet us. Can’t wait to come back for Steak night and Wood-fire pizza night.

Jafari Ali “Jeff” Expect delicious, fancy pants, [pub] food that looks very good but I would have to say the wonderful staff and great ambiance of the night sitting stole the show for me... We arrived close to the kitchen close time (like 3 minutes to close) and the staff accommodated us with open arms and a nice smile. On top of being delayed mom had a broken leg in a cast which made things even slower! Check out the food pics... The veg option is very thin but the rest of the crew were happy with their meals.

torii one of the best restaurants i have been too! all the food is so flavourful and cooked just right. inside has spacious dining and the interior design is so pretty you forget where you are! would definitely love to come back sometime
