Stocksville - VIC

Stephanie Bryan A favourite local cafe who are always creating new delicious meals along with old favourites. Love the new ‘power bowl’ with fried tofu. Sylvie is ready with a smile and the staff work hard to get the food out fast.

Chicken Central - VIC

Support Mag I had dinner yesterday and couldn’t resist writing a review. I had the chicken and salad. The chicken was absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of salt—just the right amount. It was tender, flavorful, and infused with rich herbal notes. The staff were friendly and attentive, serving with care and a smile. I truly enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back again!

Nepal Dining Room - VIC

Jacob McCahon Very pleased with my experience at the Nepal Dining Room. The food is a tasty blend between south-eastern and southern Asian. There are lots of great veggie options. We ordered the eggplant and pumpkin curry and the sweet potato curry. Also the tandoori chicken, daal soup, and Nepalese rice. Each dish was more flavourful and delicious than the next. Ideal for groups; great service and reasonable prices. Will be back soon.

Fragrant Malatang 麻辣烫 - VIC

Denver Hobson Ive got so much to say about this place. Firstly if youre into hotpot you are guaranteed to enjoy this place. They might not have a wide range of options like dragon hotpot would but it is more than enough, I got a decent size for myself and a bowl of rice and it cost me $25 that is seriously amazing. If I went DHP wouldve been like $40 so certainly great value. I got their dry pot option and MY GOD it was so good taste was so good. Second to this staff were so friendly and welcoming to their restaurant even shouted me some watermelon. Im definitely gonna be back and try a good bit of the menu with friends. Thanks guys for the hospitality last night and Ill be sure to be back soon!!

Haiku - VIC

Joel Davison Haiku is hands-down our favourite local Japanese café. The food is beautifully authentic, fresh, flavourful, and consistently amazing, but what really makes this place special is the people. The entire team is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they go above and beyond every single visit. They always remember us when we walk in, which makes every visit feel personal and genuinely special. Snow is absolutely wonderful: warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. He always makes us feel welcome and looked after, and he made my wife feel especially celebrated on her birthday, something we’ll always be grateful for. Zoe is fantastic too, friendly, thoughtful, and part of what makes the whole atmosphere feel so inviting. Haiku isn’t just a café to us anymore; it feels like a little home away from home. We’re so thankful for this gem and the incredible team behind it. Thank you. Joel & Bre.

Fordham’s Milk Bar - VIC

Anneliese This cafe provides a great spread of brunch dishes and has many sandwiches and baked goods in the window. I had the smashed avocado which was fresh and loved the feta on top. Both the caesar and calamari salad was very flavourful and filling. I also enjoyed a sweet treat of a peanut butter brownie that was fudgy and soft. Coffee was very smooth and tasty. Staff are very friendly and dish portions are generous.

8 Monkeys Vietnamese restaurant - VIC

Lu “Ins&Tk:deliciousdownunder” Great Vietnamese spot in Carnegie with a fusion twist! The menu isn’t just pho—try the steak pasta, soft shell crab bao, and creative desserts. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. I loved the hot stone pho ribs—it’s interactive and super flavorful. The drinks and smoothies are refreshing, especially the lychee and durian options. Perfect for any group size, quick service, and a fun dining experience. Definitely coming back!
