Jason Had Hong Kong style congee for $15. Very large serving and congee had fish cake, duck, calamari, nuts, crackers and a subtle home cooked taste. Perfect for a cold winter meal. Update 270725 Scallops with Chinese broccoli $32.50, Deep fried chicken ribs with egg yolk $25. Quarter roast duck $14. 1 X steam rice $4. Scallops were big, juicy and firm. Not pan fried though so dont expect crispness. Chinese broccoli was very tasty, crunchy and juicy with a glistening coating. Roast duck was tender with meaty sections and skin was crispy enough. Fattier bits were more greasy. Chicken ribs had a nice dry salted egg yolk coating atypical of wetter Malaysian and Singaporean varieties. Also not overly salty or oily. Called in advance for booking for Sunday evening and glad we did. Fast moving service with cramped seating. Long queues at the door even on a wet winter evening. Service for all 3 dishes came within ten to 15 minutes of ordering which startled us slightly. And we noticed the next table was serviced equally quickly.

Mohamed Kaarki I tried Mandi at house of mandi, and it was amazing! The rice was fragrant, and the meat was super tender and juicy, with just the right mix of spices. The ambiance was cozy with a traditional feel, and the staff was really friendly. Generous portions at a fair price—highly recommend if you’re craving something flavorful and unique!

Ben Elite food, staff were so nice and it was such a good vibe in there. A lot of tap options which does make it nice. The fish and chips were a 10/10 must try

Jo A happy accident trying this place for the first time as the restaurant we planned to go to closed early. It will definitely become a regular visit. Very friendly service explaining how to order and what the dishes are. Amazing value - $25 for a loaded plate including lamb, salmon, beans, greens and rice (with other options on offer). Comforting and hearty with nourishing spices. Tried the egg stuffed potato and took some sponge cake home also. Tasty honest food with a community feel.

Felen. T. Ts One of my favourite Cantonese restaurant in Melbourne. The fresh fish just cooked tenderly with smooth texture, Sea cucumber and mushroom are amazing. Highly recommended.

Kendall Elise Amazing food! The plantain special was to die for. Everything was packed with flavour and served piping hot. The guy working the front was very lovely too. Only thing is the food can take a while but they are up front about that. I wouldn’t recommend coming here in a hurry. It was was no problem for me as I was having a quiet evening to myself. Its definitely worth the wait. I believe you can’t rush great quality! I’ll definitely be back soon.

Jessica Cheng Excellent local cafe with chill seating options inside and outside. The food and coffee is vibrant and flavourful. The chicken salad was surprisingly filling!

Alan Thampi Had the lamb shank mandi and it was honestly amazing. The rice was full of flavour and the lamb was soft and perfectly cooked. The portion was big and totally worth the price — especially when many other places charge more for the same dish. The person at the counter was also really welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back again!

Patric Chang Lovely people with the best cuisine. Rich flavor rice with simple and tasty lamb leg. The soup and chili sauce was also amazing.
