Ash Del My family and I have been to Aksorn Thai about 4 times now and their food never disappoints. We have never waited more than 15 minutes for our food, even when it’s super busy. The food is full of flavour and always comes out hot. The staff are all lovely and we always enjoy our time at Aksorn Thai, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

The lighting and atmosphere are just beautiful, warm and welcoming, like a big Aussie hug the second you walk through the door. And the staff? Absolute legends. So friendly, so full of life — the kind of customer service that makes you feel like you’ve just been welcomed into the family. They’ve got that genuine, big-hearted Aussie hospitality that’s hard to beat. Now let’s talk about the food — because wow! The beef was fresh, juicy and packed with flavour. You could tell straight away it was top quality — none of this average stuff. That sandwich was an absolute beauty. And the sticky date pudding? Oh mate… what a cracker. Rich, perfectly balanced, and downright irresistible. I’d happily wrestle a croc for another serve of that! What’s even better is that it’s all incredibly affordable. You’re getting top-notch quality without it costing an arm and a leg — and that’s something special these days. If you’re anywhere near Mernda and you haven’t stopped by Turners Bakehouse yet, you’re missing out on something truly special. This place is a little treasure, and I’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend — what a beauty!

Louise Keegan Garlic pizza is the Best weve ever had, hands down,! My husband and I ate in on Sunday, and wowie we were impressed!!!! Crispy bases, fluffy doe, plenty of toppings and full of flavour. The owners were super friendly, thanks Stefano & Marco!

So it is Always reliable on freshness, taste and value for money! We eat here weekly and we love the wings, pizza and chicken skewers meal (great value - rice, salad, chips and 3x chicken tenderloins). The chips are AMAZING by the way!! A house special. Staff are always very friendly and never get it wrong! Highly recommend.

Emily Hui I have been coming to this cafe recently because the price is reasonable and the food is delicious. The most special thing is that I have received a very good service, which makes me feel very comfortable and happy. So I come here every week (I am served by Greta) I like this girl very much. Drashti Harkhani I’m from Perth, but swung by Laurimar Pizza while I was in Melbourne, and mate… it was bloody unreal. The pizzas were stacked, fresh as, and the base had that perfect crunch — not soggy, not dry, just spot on. Proper feed! Gotta give a massive shoutout to Yash who was on when I popped in. Absolute legend — friendly, switched on, and you can tell he puts his heart into the job. Service was top-notch, had me feeling right at home even though I’m from the other side of the country. If you’re anywhere near Laurimar, do yourself a favour and grab a pizza here. Five stars easy — worth the detour, worth the dollars, worth the hype. Bloody ripper!
