5 /5 Caitlyn Nguyen: ive been here several times with my family and despite the extremely busy and noisy atmosphere, its our favourite peking duck restaurant. dined here on easter saturday with my bf, and we enjoyed how much value there is in their peking duck set; the duck itself is just wayyy too good. im surprised by the other reviews mentioning mediocre service; we personally thought they were very friendly and attentive :-)

1 /5 ni pham: I had a very disappointing dining experience at Old Kingdom Peking Duck. We booked a table for 7:30 pm for 4 people, but were only seated at 8:00 pm. We didn’t get to place our order until 8:15 pm. The first dish (Peking duck) didn’t arrive until 8:45 pm, and the soup came at 9:00 pm. We asked about the stir-fried dish four times and were repeatedly told it was “being cooked,” but it never came out. Meanwhile, other tables that arrived later were served their food much earlier, which was very frustrating. The male manager had a bad attitude and was not professional at all. We ordered one duck that should come with 3 dishes, but we only received the first duck dish and one soup (which even had a large bone in it). Despite not receiving the third dish, we were still charged the full price for all 3 dishes. When we questioned this, the manager simply told us to “keep waiting if you want takeaway,” with no apology or proper explanation. Extremely long waiting times, poor service, and unacceptable management attitude. Not worth the price. Would not return and would not recommend.

5 /5 Langid: A true old-school gem that stands the test of time — the food here is consistently delicious. Their Peking duck is hands-down the best I’ve ever had, and it’s hard to find another that comes close, even overseas. I always come back here just for the duck! The portions are generous, the duck meat is juicy with no unpleasant smell, and the skin is incredibly crispy. I usually requested to add crispy noodles to the bean sprouts — such a tasty combo! Highly recommended! Another must-try is the Gong’s Chicken — a juicy mix of chicken and prawn, perfectly fried with a beautiful texture. So good!
