DAOL - VIC

wangan guy Absolutely amazing! Daol has become one of my favourite spots for Korean-Chinese food. Every dish was packed with flavour and came out super fresh. The jjajangmyeon was rich and perfectly balanced, the tangsuyuk was crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the portions were so generous. The staff were friendly and the service was really quick, even during busy hours. The whole place just gives off a warm, welcoming vibe. If you’re craving delicious Korean-Chinese food, Daol is a must-try!

Matthew Flinders Hotel - VIC

Narelle Andrews Exceptional service and family-friendly atmosphere! We visited on Jan 8th for a late lunch and had a fantastic experience. The venue is perfect for large groups with kids, but what really stood out was the staff. My daughter was playing the claw machine and the prize got stuck; the team took our details and actually followed up that same evening to let us know they’d retrieved it! Beyond the toy rescue, the food and drink service was attentive and accommodating throughout our meal. It’s rare to find a place that balances great service with such a kid-friendly environment. We’ll definitely be back.

Burwood Hot Pot Buffet - VIC

Jenny Anderson This is an interesting restaurant! 30+something per person for a hotpot buffet. The amazing part is they have lots of seafood selections! mantis shrimp, prawns, crabs, fish, options, squid, pipi, mussels etc. They have around 60+ variety of food of choice, free ice cream, deep fried food, and some free drinks. The hotpot soup base is full of flavours that I really like! Everything I had was fresh and nice! Highly recommended!

Taste Dumpling - VIC

Celine A classic Chinese restaurant. Kinda dirty but the food is always bomb. I went here with my little princess after touring an apartment that kinda sucked. Anyways the food was very good, and big portions.

Son of Tucci Cafe Mount Waverley - VIC

Jenny Anderson Absolutely amazing brunch spot! The ricotta hotcakes were fluffy and not too sweet. The Atlantic salmon was fresh and beautifully seasoned. The spicy eggs added just the right kick to balance the meal. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Can’t wait to come back! Absolutely highly recommend!

Sampoorna Vegetarian Surprise Indian Restaurant - VIC

Vipul Bansal This is a must visit restaurant if your in Melbourne looking for pure vegetarian Indian food. Located in the suburb of Mount Waverly and away from the noisy city street, this place offers great Indian vegetarian cuisine at very affordable prices. This restaurant has won many awards for its hygeine, cleanliness and taste including The Shop of the Year in the city of Whitehorses food hygeine Assessment Award. The hospitality is great as well and mostly importantly they offer food of great taste which reminded me of true Indian flavours. I tried Gobi Manchurian and it was finger licking amongst others. Their self made Mango Lassi and Mango ice cream were sumptuous.. Everyone else with me were very happy with the food they ordered and we were fully satisfied. I strongly suggest to visit this place at least once and trust me you will be regular here.

Double Stars - VIC

Madeleine DrinksTea Excellent value - a large was enough for two of us. This might not be the best place for authentic Chinese food, but its a great place to grab Australian Chinese dishes, which are getting harder to find. My top pick was the sweet and sour chicken - it was packed with flavour. My husband, who is Chinese, loved the lemon chicken - sauce was added right at the end to preserve the texture. There were lots of vegetables in the fish and beef with black bean dishes, which was a huge plus. Wed both be back for sure.

Dish & Spoon Cafe - VIC

Nick Shen Quite busy for Sunday brunch, and can be a bit too noisy. But the service is still quick and the food is very good. The salmon royale had a lovely hollandaise sauce and the chips were really nice. Good coffee too.
