3 /5 Jason: They used to have pretty good pastries but havent seen them for about a year or two now. Saw that they had a $5 banh mi special so decided to give them a try. Overall it wasnt bad. Bread was crispy and did cut my upper mouth. Butter was creamy but pate lacked flavour. Strangest thing was that they packed the meat in last so from the top all you could see was the cold meats. That resulted in unequal flavours from each mouthful where some mouthfuls you only got the vegetables and others you only got meat. There was quiet a bit of a wait as well. Not bad for the offer but for a tastier choice I would still opt for the cold roll from Bebe tea around the corner. Update October 25 Banh mi now $6.

5 /5 NGOC HAN NGUYEN: Been here many times. Recommend you guys try the rolls here. Clean and tasty. Reasonable price, especially for a $5 roll. Good coffee and friendly staff. Maybe because of the new management, the restaurant has improved and changed significantly.

1 /5 Vivian Ngo: The restaurant is called Pho Ngon, which means “delicious pho” in Vietnamese, but unfortunately the pho is not delicious. The broth lacks depth and authenticity, which is disappointing—especially since the restaurant is Vietnamese-owned, so expectations were higher. The waiting time for food is very long every single time I order, even when the restaurant is not busy. This is not a one-off issue and it has become quite frustrating, as it happens on every visit. If the problem is understaffing, the owner should consider hiring more staff and offering reasonable wages to improve service rather than leaving customers waiting. Hopefully, the food quality and service will improve in the future.

5 /5 Katherine Tao: Not sure why this place has such low ratings, but the vermicelli dishes have always been very good and loaded and meat. Its perfect for after a workout. The pho was also not bad though nothing mind shattering either. The owners speak very little english so its a challenge asking for details about the dishes, you just have to order by the number and thats about it. Havent tried their Banh Mi so dont take my word in that regard.
