天山新疆餐厅Tengri Tag Restaurant - VIC

Ju Han I recently dined at Tengri Tag Restaurant and had an exceptional experience. The Chinese Xin Jiang cuisine they offer is truly delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors. We forgot to mention that we wanted the lamb kebab non-spicy, but the thoughtful chef noticed we had kids and made it half spicy and half non-spicy. This kind gesture really stood out. The friendly staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable, providing excellent service and hospitality. The restaurant’s environment is also top-notch, offering a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend Tengri Tag Restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable meal!

Fairfield Park Boathouse & Tea Gardens - VIC

LingShan Wu Such a peaceful and natural environment! The café is surrounded by trees and the river, making it a perfect spot to unwind. It’s a self-service system, you order at the front desk, get a buzzer, and pick up your food when it’s ready. There are plenty of spots to sit, two floors with lots of outdoor areas where you can enjoy the view. You’ll see people rowing, biking, and strolling along the riverbank, which adds to the relaxing vibe. You can also spot many birds. Highly recommend for a weekend brunch or a quiet coffee by the water.

STREAT PHO - VIC

Nekta Theodossiou Lovely service by the staff and amazing meals full of flavors. They have a great menu including Betel leaves as an entree which cannot be found very often and they were so, so good. They have very good servings, reasonably priced and their food tastes great. We’re not locals but we will def be back. Thank you for a very tasteful experience.

The Grandview Hotel Fairfield - VIC

John Marriage Attended Dave ONeils Comedy funhouse Wednesday night which featured Jim Eoin and a couple of others which was hilarious! Left with tears of laughter! We had the two course meal which was very nice. One highlight was our Server - Leticia. She was bright and bubbly and nothing was any trouble, considering there was around 100 diners. Cannot recommend her highly enough. A real asset to the Grandview. Thank you Leticia!

Tandoori King Indian Restaurant & Wine Bar - VIC

Pazzo Redento Absolutely first rate. I have been coming to Tandoori Kings predecessor Everest off and on for years but this is next level. Ordered the Chefs Special, the best veggie korma and Kashmiri rice I have ever eaten. It was so good I ordered the same thing as takeaway for my niece who loves Indian tucker. Tandoori King is a recent revamp with huge potential and deserves an influx of new customers. You will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to see what they do with their corner bar!

Nouha’s Bakery - VIC

Naveen Gundaboina It’s my first week in Australia, and I’ve been craving some good coffee and bakery treats. I ended up having a donut and a cheesy wrap, can’t quite recall what it was called, so excuse my ignorance. But I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee……well, it was coffee, how can you possibly go wrong with that? Solid 5 on 5.

99 Thai Street Food - VIC

Kristine Orbiso Ordered Prawn Pad Thai and Crying Tiger. Was craving Pad Thai and glad it did not disappoint. Noodles weren’t soggy, balanced taste of the sauce and generous amount of prawns. My husband ordered Crying Tiger and it was delicious! Paired it with their sauce and greens. Cost wise, it is worth it. Ambiance is nice and relaxed. Seating capacity is just 16 max. Decorations are Thai influenced and makes you feel like you’re just in Thailand. Restaurant is very clean, well ventilated and doesn’t have any weird smell. Just the freshly cooked meals that’s appetizing. Service is quick and staff is very friendly and attentive. I noticed that they have many online orders and it shows that the food is indeed yummy. Will be back to try some food in the menu.

Red Door Corner Store - VIC

Aditi Dhurka Red Door Corner Café in Northcote delivered one of the warmest and most memorable breakfast experiences we’ve had in a long time. The space is beautifully minimalistic, calm, welcoming, and clearly designed with quality in mind. The food was outstanding, with beautifully balanced portions and incredible attention to detail. We ordered the shakshuka, zucchini, corn & quinoa fritter, and a crumpet, and every single dish was excellent. Even the condiments stood out, to name some, the house-made raspberry jam, French butter, and green chilli oil were absolutely scrumptious. Everything was so thoughtfully prepared, well made, and deeply satisfying. There are many excellent vegetarian options to choose from, which we really appreciated. Even the display cabinet filled with small treats and pastries was tempting and beautifully presented. The staff was so friendly, warm, and welcoming. They truly elevate the entire experience. Bonus points for plenty of off-street parking, making the visit easy and stress-free. We only wish we had more days in Melbourne to pay another visit. A truly amazing breakfast and a café well worth seeking out.
