Ann Reeves I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing place called Saigon Rex Restaurant. Very crowded for lunch and brunch on the weekends which is always a good sign. I must say, it was a remarkable experience from start to finish. The food was really tasty, good portion sizes and at a reasonable price. The menu boasted an extensive selection of Yum Cha and Chinese delicacies from the classic, delicious freshly cooked Dim Sum and Lunch. The staff deserves a special mention for their friendly and impeccable service. They were attentive, knowledgeable and eager to cater to our preferences. Their recommendations were spot on, helping us explore the wide array of Cantonese flavors with confidence. For lunch, we had classic Dim Sum. We love this hidden gem sooo much and we cant wait to come back soon because the Chinese food is really yummy with good ambiance, great parking and no service charge fees. I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic taste of Chinese cuisine in a welcoming and elegant setting.

Jonathon Dempster There are always some amazing special finds around this area, but this place is really something special. You literally could be in Asia sitting in the middle of a market square on basic tables being served the most amazing food by the most amazing people. It does exactly what it says on the label. This is street food to die for - we had the chicken and prawn balls - with 2 Banh Mi and some sugarcane drinks - oh and the rices paper rolls again awesome but a total over order on our part! The food is super good value price-wise and the only reason we spent $50 between two of us is because my eyes are way bigger than my stomach!

Caty Cat Snow cheese and creamy onion chicken are so delicious. Highly recommended.

Vanessa Wong-Lee Gami has recently opened which is a great addition to Springvale. The interior is so vibrant and colourful and the staff are so friendly. The soy garlic boneless chicken has tender meat but the batter could have been a bit more crisp as it is was rather chewy. Loved the potato heaven which was well balanced and has a hint of spice.

Margaret Lee My friend, Linh brought me to this place and she ordered some Vietnamese food which i have tried before in Vietnam as a tourist. We had hanoi style grilled porks with rice vermicelli, hog plum salad, vietnamese clear shrimp dumplings. All 3 dishes were so good especially the vermicelli. We will come back again and also recommended to others to try too.

Niki M Came in on a lovely Sunday to have banh canh cua and it didn’t disappoint! The food is soooooo delicious. Authentic and takes me back to Saigon ☺️ the owners and their lovely daughter were great to chat to also. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back. This cafe is the greatest!

Simo S I discovered this place a year ago after coming from work. I have not stopped dining in and taking away ever since! I have also introduced nasi kandar to my family, they love it !Starting with the absolutely respectful and inviting customer service, the staff here-especially my favourite staff member Jigga, so sweet and genuinely caring about his customers needs. He is always having a beautiful smile on his face when I come in. Now for the food! Its absolutely delicious -so authentic, flavorful, and satisfying. Every bite is a burst of rich, genuine taste that keeps me coming back for more. The dishes are prepared with care and passion, truly reflecting their culinary tradition. Whether Im dining in or taking away, the quality always impresses me. Its clear that they put love into every plate, making each meal a comforting and delightful experience. This food, combined with the wonderful service, makes every visit memorable and special.

Alvi This restaurant is located along Buckingham Road in Springvale. It is located opposite The Pho restaurant. We love their wonton soup noodles, XO clams and roast food. Their wonton noodle is one of the best in Melbourne. Their soup noodles are great!

Feka Widjaja Good place to enjoy Indonesian cuisine. Try Nasi Goreng Cakalang very tasty. Sambal is good. Nice place just infrint of Springvale train station

The Mog Champ The Mog Champ sends his regards. Authentic Vietnamese food! They offer Mi Quang which is an amazing noodle dish that not all Vietnamese restaurants offer. I ordered the broken rice myself as I wasnt feeling for noodles and it was delicious. Also had a ice soya milk and longan herbal tea to drink, service was quick and the shop is a bit compact but clean. Portions are generous and affordable as well. Thanks for the food Pho Nho!
