Rococo Mordialloc - Food VIC

4 /5 Madigan Larissa (Liss): This new venue is all about the location. Theyve given it a nice revamp and the interior is stylish and fresh. Unfortunately the service, just like the Hawthorn location, needs some improvement. Also had a huge wait time to pay, along with 5 other families all standing around while no staff were manning the register. Even though the place was almost empty and 2 girls polishing cutlery would occasionally glance over their shoulder and continue to ignore everyone? The food is just ok. Its good but not great. For the price, I would definitely expect better. The separate vegan menu is a wonderful offering but $37 for veg and chickpeas? Seriously? Its 100% the view. The atmosphere is OK but you are there for the view. Also a Saturday surcharge on top of the high prices is a bit much.

5 /5 Akhilesh Kandu: Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve had in my life. The pizza itself was outstanding — great base, quality toppings, and cooked perfectly. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food. The ambience was just as good: clean, warm, and genuinely nice to sit in without feeling cramped or rushed. Staff were friendly and attentive without being over the top, which always makes a difference. Everything came out on time and the whole experience felt smooth and well run. If you’re after really good pizza in a place that actually feels good to eat in, this one’s worth your time.

5 /5 Matthew Aitken: Visited this fine establishment for a family lunch and was impressed with the airy and spacious decor as soon as we walked in. They really matched the beach side theme nicely. The service was fantastic, the young staff were polite and professional throughout the experience. The food was delicious, both entree mains and desserts. If you’re looking for some high quality italian cuisine, put rococo on your list of places to try.

5 /5 Magda Kozicki: I had booked Rococo Mordialloc to celebrate mine and my mothers birthday on Sunday 22nd Feb. From the moment we were greeted with a warm smile and friendly atmosphere. The waiter (I cannot remember his name) promptly attended to take our drinks order, than shortly after our food order, we ordered to share the chicken skewers and gamberi Verde and for main pollo Milanese, saffron risotto with seafood and salmon. The meals came out presented with care and my compliments to the chef for the delicious meals. The ambience and decor in the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous, not to mention the view out to mordialloc Beach. We had a really great time and looking forward to making Rococo a regular place to dine. My sincere thanks for a wonderful evening.

5 /5 Chris Cappola: You cant beat the location. Its got a really calming warming ambience inside and its quite a great place to sit and have a meal. We live up East so were usual at Hawthorn and the food matched perfectly. Everything was A+ delicious, cannot fault ANYTHING with the food. Def would come back. I agree parking is challenging even for a weeknight. We got one but when we left, we had 4 people competing for our spot. Cant imagine a busy Saturday night here. I also agree with the other review about the service. You really need to try and get eye contact to get service and its a little frustrating. It was a hot 36 degree day, you would think offering us water would be the first focus, but we had to signal twice to get someone to even acknowledge us. Then we wanted to order drinks and that too was like a game to get attention. One waitress came over and said she cant do it (unsure why she came over) would find someone then disappeared and didnt get anyone. The girl who I guess was assigned to us was really friendly, and she was more attentive, but you can tell everyone is a little overwhelmed and it wasnt even busy. Still - a really awesome place.
