Shiraaz Indian Restaurant - Food VIC

5 /5 Malay Adhikari: We had a family dinner (with 6 members) at this restaurant, on Saturday 11th October 2025. We started off with Chicken tikka nawabi and Lamb sheekh kebabs for entree. Followed by mains which included Lamb Bhuna, Shiraazi kofta, Prawn Malabar, garlic butter naans basmati rice etc. For dessert we had Malai Kulfi and Gulab jamuns. All of these items were excellent. But the Chicken tikka nawabi and Lamb sheekh kebabs were the best. Chicken tikka had succulent tender pieces of boneless meat marinated with a well-balanced blend of spices and cooked to authentic perfection in Tandoor oven. And it was the same with Lamb sheekh kebabs too. Bhuna Lamb was also a Masterpiece with good size lamb pieces cooked in a well-balanced, medium spicy, delicious gravey which went well with the hot garlic butter naans. The ambience was very nice too. They have a fully stocked bar on premises and there are clean gender based toilets inside. Host/Manager Krishna and all the other serving staff were nice courteous people. Theres also ample parking available around this restaurant. Highly recommend.

1 /5 Trisha: This was a favourite restaurant of mine, until my last order from them. Food was so burnt!! Why they thought giving a customer poor quality food, like that is acceptable, I dont understand. 2 tubs of Raita were both HALF empty!!!, both tubs equalled to the size of one!! I was so mad to see they ripped me off like that! Unbelievable. I also was incredibly sick for days, the worst Ive ever been!! I regret ordering food that night, and havent ordered here since. Not a good way to treat a loyal customer, ripping customers off isnt nice

5 /5 Elle Indika: Dined in last night and as always, the food was incredible! Garlic naan was so buttery and flakey + they dont shy away from loads of garlic! Didnt get pics of our mains as we got too excited to eat and forgot to take photos. Lamb Vindaloo had a perfect spiciness and fell apart with a fork. The mint sauce and chutneys here are absolutely delicious too. Will always come back - the prices are not exhaubatent either. Clean, relaxed atmosphere and service very lovely also. 10/10 experience.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy vibe that makes it perfect for a casual dinner or a special night out. We started with the garlic naan, which was incredibly buttery, flaky, and loaded with fresh garlic – hands down some of the best I’ve had. For mains, the Rogan Josh was a standout; the lamb was tender and juicy, swimming in a rich, aromatic sauce bursting with authentic spices that had just the right amount of heat. The butter chicken was equally impressive – creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. Portions were generous, and everything arrived piping hot. The staff were friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations without being pushy. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the overall experience left us planning our next visit. If you’re craving top-notch Indian food in the heart of Melbourne, Shiraaz is a must-try! Highly recommend. 5/5 stars
