Bushra Sabir What a wonderful experience! The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Pakistani dishes. I had the yummiest brunch, the food was incredibly tasty and reminded me of the comforting, motherly flavors of home. Truly one of the best places to eat in Melbourne, a real hidden gem.

Melbourne mojo eats I recently visited Peshawari Restaurant, and it honestly felt like stumbling upon a little treasure that’s been hiding in plain sight. This place has such a loyal following, and now I completely understand why . The food has that authentic, traditional warmth that instantly draws you in. What really stands out is their commitment to freshness. Everything is prepared daily, using fresh, clean ingredients, and you can taste that care in every dish. There’s a beautiful depth of flavour in their sauces and gravies: rich, aromatic, and so lovingly put together that it genuinely feels like a homemade feast. Although Peshawari is best known as a top takeaway spot, they’ve now opened two branches where you can dine in. Just remember, it’s not a fancy setup ...more of a relaxed, straightforward space.. but that’s part of its charm. The focus is entirely on the food, and honestly, that’s where they shine. And I have to say, the sweets were a total highlight... indulgent, comforting, and absolutely irresistible. If you’re looking for authentic flavours, freshly made dishes, and that homestyle richness, Peshawari Restaurant is a must-try. A true flavour experience!

Savio Coelho There is only one word to describe this place - awesome! I have been here a couple of times, and they have never disappointed me. The food is so delicious that I find myself thinking about it all the time.The staff are always welcoming, with smiles on their faces, and they go the extra mile to make sure you have the best possible experience. I once ordered from them for a house party on 1st Nov, and everyone absolutely loved the food,especially their Iraqi kebabs and the fresh bread, which were a huge hit. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic, flavourful food and great service. I will definitely be visiting again soon with my whole family. Thank you, Abu Noaas, for such a wonderful experience.

dais came here tonight for the first time. I called ahead to place a phone order and they prepared it very quickly. I got a beef burger and it was so delicious! the patty was thick, not dry at all and the burger itself was a good size. I had no idea they open late and will definitely come back :)

Muhammad Zohaib Javed Pros: Very tasty food, worth the wait. service with a smile from the staff. Get in before 3 else no halwa puri available over the weekends. Cons: Oily floor which needs a good steam clean. Staff was not being helpful in cleaning the tables and dropping the serviettes on the floor. Another person was clearing off used serviettes and food off the floor. The rice and oily food had made the floor sticky and slippery where my wife slipped twice. The staff working needs some training to be polite to not scream and took amongst themselves planning what they are doing on Tuesday evening if they don’t have a shift. 2 different kind of music playing at the same time. Near entrance area Nusrat Fateh Ali was making us enjoy while at the back with the soothing ambiance with mellow music was giving the un synced mix. Phones are rearly answered as mailbox is full. Final verdict will I go back again definitely. Will update the review if I find any changes in the next trips.

ila ariatasha It is so wonderful to know there is a halal fish and chips option here in Melbourne. Travelled 40 minutes away from where I stay just to get their food - fish and chips. Also ordered a chicken burger and seafood platter. Fresh with crispy batter. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for serving good halal food.

Shrestha Ruza Absolutely love this place! The burgers and wraps are amazing, and the mild sauce is full of flavour. The chips are crispy, and the chicken is cooked to perfection every time. Quick service and great value for money. Highly recommend!
