The Fields - VIC

Lindsay Mann We had an excellent dining experience at The Fields. It was a Friday evening and the restaurant appeared to be quite busy. We had a reservation and were immediately taken to our table. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We chose the chef’s feed me menu accompanied by a very nice South Australian white blend wine. The food was delivered at good intervals, not rushed. Everything was delicious. We overestimated our capacity and had some food that we could not finish. The staff provided us with a takeaway container.

Delhi Rocks (Preston) - VIC

Nina Lin I personally loved the chicken biryani — the spice was just right and really tasty. My partner enjoyed the special thali with extra rice. The roti was unlimited. The staff bringing fresh ones as soon as you finished. We both thought the mango lassi was refreshing. Ending with a hot mini cup of chai made the meal perfect.

Falafel Moudy Campbellfield - VIC

Hew Davies Excellent, fresh cooked falafel. Crispy outside, soft inside with excellent texture. I ate my wrap over several hours and the texture was good hours later. Not even close to soggy or wet but not dry either. Pickled veg was plentiful, as was hummus, and not overpowering in any particular flavour. I was fortunate enough to have some of the best handmade falafel in Jordan and this reminded me of that in an instant. Simple clean store, friendly staff, accepts cash and card. Will make this a regular go to, highly reccomend. $10 for the wrap, no card surcharge, 10/10.

Dama Rose - VIC

Samia Masters From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed with genuine warmth that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The owner’s passion for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine shines through in every dish. The grilled meats are simply outstanding—perfectly tender, infused with a rich charred flavor that melts in your mouth. The dips are full of character, and the freshly baked, pillowy bread instantly transported me back to my childhood. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a deeply nostalgic experience, filled with heart, tradition, and exceptional flavors.

Banksia Restaurant Melbourne - VIC

Joshua Skliar A Culinary Gem: Review of Banksia If you haven’t visited Banksia yet, you are missing out on one of the most cohesive and flavorful dining experiences around. From the moment you walk in, the beautiful ambiance sets the tone—elegant yet inviting, making it the perfect backdrop for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. The Highlights The kitchen’s attention to detail is evident from the very first bite. Here’s a breakdown of the standout dishes: Bread & Mushroom Butter: Do not skip this. The bread is perfect, but the mushroom butter is a revelation—earthy, rich, and incredibly addictive. Peach & Raw Tuna: A bold, refreshing combination. The sweetness of the peach perfectly complements the delicate, fresh tuna. It’s a masterclass in balance. The Pasta: Simply put, wow. You can tell the pasta is crafted with care; the texture and seasoning were spot on. The Steak: This was the star of the show. It truly melts in your mouth, cooked to absolute perfection and seasoned to highlight the quality of the cut. Affogato: To end the night, the affogato offered a creamy and delicate texture that felt like a sophisticated hug in a glass. Exceptional Service What truly elevates Banksia is the impeccable service. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every need is met with a genuine smile. It’s rare to find a place where the food, atmosphere, and hospitality all hit a perfect ten. Verdict: Whether it’s a special occasion or just a Tuesday night treat, Banksia is a must-visit. I’ll be dreaming about that mushroom butter for weeks!

Saigon Corner Cafe (Northland) - VIC

Anna Barber I love this cafe at Northland. The staff are so personable and Anthony demonstrates excellent leadership. The food is lovely and fresh but my coffees are the best...cappuccino with extra froth, with a spoon and no lid. No other cafe matches their coffee. How fantastic to have a spot at Northland that is at such a high standard in terms of people, service and product. I wish them every good.

Nadine Thomas Finishing our meal and I just cant wait to leave a 5 star review! Everything we had was 10/10. Generous, gregarious service, unlike any Ive experienced to date. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary tonight and it was just perfect. The lamb ribs and bernaise sauce are must tries! You cant go wrong if youre a meat lover. Thank you. We will be back!

West Wok - VIC

Mahmut Aytekin My partner and I decided to try West Wok in Campbellfield and we were genuinely surprised by how amazing everything was. We ordered the curry laksa, honey chicken, spring rolls, and martabak - basically went all out. The curry laksa (see pic) was incredible. The broth was rich and creamy with just the right amount of spice, loaded with fish cake, chicken, bean sprouts, and those crispy fried tofu puffs that soak up all the flavor. Easily one of the best laksas I’ve had in ages. The honey chicken was spot on - crispy batter, tender meat, and the sauce wasn’t too sickly sweet like some places make it. Spring rolls were fresh and golden, and the martabak was something different for us but so worth trying. Best part? The prices are really reasonable. We walked out stuffed and happy without breaking the bank, which is pretty rare these days. If you’re around Campbellfield and want proper tasty food that doesn’t cost a fortune, definitely check out West Wok. We’ll be back for sure!
