Yasemins Grill & Kebabs - VIC

Hansen He i asked about the kebab and was told their lamb kebab was good so i decided to try since it’s friend recommendation. i got the combo it’s not the cheapest $27 but the price is reasonably justified for the quality which is good for its price. chips was fresh, that’s another quality to add to justify its price. the couch is nice but if you are too big then you would struggle to fit into it which means you need to sit on the chair/stool. although the place is clean and looks shiny, small and comfy vibes.

Golden Harvest Cafe - VIC

David C If you like Hong Kong cafe food, this is one of the classic restaurants. Serves most dishes like baked rice/spaghetti to lots of noodle and rice dish varieties, as well as many Cantonese mains. Also does HK sandwiches and french toast/waffles. I like to order the mix grill sizzling plate (comes with soup, rice/chips/spaghetti and a HK drink) which is a banger. Gets busy and closes by 8PM so an early dinner is better. Would I come back? Yes. Im a regular

Cafe Windchimes - VIC

Amir F If you’re looking for a spot that feels like a hidden slice of Europe right in Blackburn, Windchimes is a must-visit. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the wonderful European atmosphere—it’s cozy, inviting, and clearly a well-loved family business. The service here is exceptional. The staff are incredibly helpful and genuinely nice, which makes such a difference. A special shout-out to Sadra, who was our server; they were absolutely lovely and made us feel right at home! As for the food, it was super delicious. Our group of three ordered: • The Big Breakfast: Hearty, high-quality ingredients, and a very satisfying portion. • Smashed Avo with Poached Eggs: Perfectly seasoned and the eggs were done exactly right. The portions are more than big enough to leave you feeling full, and the entire cafe is impressively clean and well-maintained. Even though it’s a popular spot, it maintained a lovely quiet energy that allowed us to actually enjoy our conversation. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a quality meal in a relaxed, friendly environment!

Omurice House - VIC

David Gordon After trying to get to Omurice House in Mitcham, it was well worth the wait! It took me a second glance to see it was inside to the right of the BP. (should have looked closer at reviews to see it!) I had the Japanese cream omurice with chicken katsu, and it was really good. The katsu was super fresh, perfectly crispy, and the size of the meal was great for the price. After spending a lot of time in Japan this is the closest meal I have had that reminds me of being there. The service was great too. The staff were super friendly and they made sure we were happy with everything. More people definitely need to know about this place! Fingers crossed their next store pops up closer to the northern suburbs.

Okami Japanese Restaurant - VIC

Nishani Ahangama Went for all you can eat buffet 42.50 per pax. Food presented beautifully and little testing plate sizse . For the first time eating it’s quite exciting . But in my opinion I won’t eat again as it’s kind of boring as it’s the same thing you get to order from the menu . First time it’s kind of uncertain and you have that excitement but onsce you have it you kind of feeling oki over now . Plus most food are fried stuff so even you order you won’t be able to finished it up as fried food naturally keeps you full due to heavy coating . Other than that food is oki not extra ordinary but not a place to go over n over .
