Tiffin Box - VIC

Chrissy W I popped in on a tuesday to try out their Dum Biryani Halal Chicken on a $15 special and I absolutely loved it. The portion was huge, it was made fresh and came with yoghurt(?) sauce. The biryani was delicious and fulfilling, so much so I have gotten it a couple more times since then. The workers are lovely and the restaurant is decorated beautifully inside as well. I recommend this place if you want a meal!!

The Matka Khichdi - VIC

RJMelbourne I had the most amazing Daal Tudka Khichdi here!! The flavours are balanced and deep with a comforting feeling at just the right heat. (I had to take away but I couldn’t wait to devour what was filling my car on the way home) I’m definitely coming back here again.

Sahib E Swad - Clayton - VIC

Ammar Ansari Went Againnn!!! Tried Sahib-e-Swaad in Clayton today and wow… this place is next level! I had their Amritsari Kulcha, served with Chole, Achar, and Salad and honestly, it was crazy amazing! The flavors, the crunch, the spice everything just hit perfectly. Also tried their AK-47 Paneer, and that was equally delicious, rich, and full of that authentic Punjabi taste you rarely find here. Honestly, this is one of the best, most genuine Indian Punjabi food experiences I’ve ever had in Melbourne. If you’re in Clayton and craving proper desi flavor, this is a must-visit. Not gonna lie they had real swaad!

Window Restaurant - VIC

Han Yu Tan I got the broken rice for $10 and it’s pretty good. The pork chop was cooked well, not tough. Good sauce and egg. It’s a simple dish done pretty well for a very affordable price. On the weekend, it gets really packed and cramped, but otherwise food is good.

Mekong Restaurant - VIC

Justin Tan I have the Bun Rieu, crab noodle soup. It costs $15. Portions are generous with lots of ingredients, including pigs blood. Theres no MSG. The soup has a sweet fermented aroma when it was served. Highly recommend. Had the Cambodian noodle soup on a second occasion. Unlike the restaurant next door, this version has lots of pigs offals. Great if you like pigs offals. $15. Had the salt and pepper chicken ribs. Delicious. $15. My review of the Bun Bo Hue on a separate experience - its not authentic; no pork knuckles, no Vietnamese meat loaf, no taste of the lemon grass shavings. But soup is acceptable in taste. I wouldnt recommend this dish. Paid $15.
