Melbourne Tram Museum - VIC

Jess Dixon I have driven past here so many times but never knew what it was. Honestly it was a great experience, my 2 year old and his friend of the same age loved it. The way you can climb in and out is actually really fun! I would love to do a photo shoot here some time!

The Terrarium (1) - VIC

sam this terrarium saved my life. i was being hunted by a bear running through a forest through a massive storm. the storm was blowing me off my feet i kept falling over and nearly died. as i tripped on a massive branch the storm took down a place caught my eye. i entered the property and saw this amazing terrarium. its beauty stunned me and the bear in place. its greenery and life sent me on a high. i never felt more alive. i was at peace in this storm. my storm had been calmed. this terrarium allowed me to escape the bear and actually made me and the bear best friends. we now occasionally share a cup of tea over a jar of honey and set up a picnic next to the terrarium to celebrate what brought us together. UPDATE: now me and the bear are getting married and are having kids UPDATE 2: our kids are all grown up and we are going around australia making more of these beautiful terrariums. thank you for bringing me and my family together i am forever grateful.

Shri Shiva Vishnu Temple - VIC

Riddhi Panchal Visiting the Shree ShivaVishnu Temple was a special experience for me, especially since I’ve never been to a South Indian temple in India. The temple is absolutely beautiful, with stunning architecture and a peaceful, spiritual atmosphere. The detailed carvings and traditional design gave me a strong sense of South Indian culture and devotion—it felt like a small piece of India right here. After the darshan, we enjoyed dosas from the temple canteen, and they were incredible! Crispy, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. The sambar and chutneys were perfect complements. What really impressed me was how affordable everything was—it’s rare to get such quality food at such reasonable prices. If you’re looking for a spiritual experience along with delicious South Indian food, this temple is a must-visit—even more so if, like me, you’ve never experienced a South Indian temple before

Riversdale Park - VIC

Joseph Lioner Riversdale Park is an amazing destination for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable day out. This park is a true gem in the heart of the city, with something to offer for everyone. From its beautiful walking trails and lush greenery to its impressive playground and picnic areas, Riversdale Park has it all. The park is well-maintained and clean, making it a pleasure to spend time here. The walking trails are well-marked and easy to navigate, and the views are simply stunning. Youll feel like youve been transported to a peaceful oasis, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. One of the standout features of Riversdale Park is its playground. Its one of the best Ive seen, with plenty of equipment to keep kids of all ages entertained. There are swings, slides, climbing structures, and more. The playground is also surrounded by picnic tables and benches, making it the perfect spot for a family outing. Overall, I cant recommend Riversdale Park enough. Whether youre looking for a peaceful retreat in nature or a fun-filled day with the family, this park has it all. Its definitely one of the best parks in the area, and Ill be coming back again and again.

Fordham Gardens - VIC

Shai N We had a small picnic in this park yesterday. It was very beautiful and relaxing time visiting this place. We ate on the bench first and later on laid out the picnic mat to rest up. I did take opportunity to take pictures near the small pond. You can bring your family and pup, friends or your special one to just chill and soak up vitamin D

Frog Hollow Reserve - VIC

Nara Lee Great, well-maintained park with a walking/cycling trail (Anniversary Trail) which makes for a decent but short exercise. Next to the train line so expect to see trains rushing by. There’s also a cricket oval, playground, bathroom and parking here.

Camberwell Sunday Market - VIC

bobyohya A charming Sunday market full of surprises! This vibrant outdoor market is a great way to spend your weekend. You’ll find more than just secondhand clothes — there are flower bouquets, potted plants, and even cozy coffee trucks serving up great brews. Right next door is another indoor market, and the surrounding area is dotted with cafés, making it a lovely spot to hang out and explore. Many vendors offer clothing at clearance prices, and you can pay by card or cash. Just keep in mind: it closes quite early — around 11:30 AM, they begin making closing announcements and stalls start packing up. Tip: Arrive early to enjoy the full experience and to secure a parking spot — it gets busy quickly! Highly recommend for anyone who loves vintage finds and local vibes.
