3 /5 Alan: Tells the interesting and chilling story of a serial killer, and contains quite a bit of information. However, the information could have been presented in a much better way. First of all, the audio is narrated by a computer generated voice, so it lacks emotion and is at times difficult to understand. Secondly, the Cya app doesn’t let you listen to the audio and read the text at the same time, very inconvenient when you can’t understand the computer generated voice. And finally, the photos in the story section of the app are small, slightly obscured by the user interface, and cannot be zoomed in, so are not very useful. Overall, this was an interesting tour but not a good value for the money in its current condition.

The narration is engaging, with a good mix of facts and stories that keep you interested. Exploring the citys dark past was thrilling and educational. The app was easy to use with clear directions and an audio guide that made me feel like I was in the past. I liked being able to explore at my own pace and take breaks to enjoy the atmosphere. If you like true crime, history or just want to experience Melbourne in a new way, this tour is a must. Its eerie, intriguing and a great way to learn about the citys hidden stories. I highly recommend it!
