Melbourne Zoo - Parkville (VIC)

Nurcihan Körpe Woodlands Historic Park is such a wonderful and cozy place to explore by bike. The most incredible part is seeing kangaroos everywhere! It was our first time observing kangaroos so closely in their natural habitat, and it was truly mesmerizing. Walking and exploring alongside them made the experience even more unforgettable!

Trinh Dau Princes Pier is perfect for sunsets and fishing. The views are stunning, and its a peaceful spot to relax.

Jay Birchy Absolutely amazing tour, not only from a historical perspective, but an informative one also. Thoroughly enjoyed the stories from prisoners past and having the ability to walk around and take your time looking at the place. Glad they have retained many of the original fittings and fixtures and havent modernised the entirety of the old girl. Well worth your time. If you get the opportunity to come back and walk around at night, make sure you do so. The Adina Apartments which are on the old grounds of Pentridge is well worth your stay. You wont be disappointed.

Wanyue Fang Scienceworks is a fantastic place for curious young minds, full of hands-on activities and fun ways to learn about science and technology. Every visit sparks new questions and excitement. It’s a great destination for families and a must-visit for anyone with kids who love to explore and discover!

Nadya Thianty Uphill & downhill hike but not too long, only around 30 minutes? Good small exercise with pretty sights

Ikjyot Singh If you like birds this is the park for you. Plenty of BBQ spots with sheds to protect you incase of rain. Toilets (including disable ones). Dedicated play area for kids. Lovely spot right next to freeway.

Sean Nairn Located in a small reserve in Melbourne’s north, this monument commemorates the agreement to create the 8 hour workday. The spire has ‘888’ at its tip symbolising 8 hours for work, 8 for sleep and 8 hours for relaxation. Unless you’re a super fan of labour laws probably not worth a special visit but drop by if you’re in the area.

KC kaleuclint An interesting place to ride your MTB, shared with fishermen and dog walkers. Great view of the port approaches and container handling.

satish katyare Point Gellibrand Lookout in Williamstown offers stunning panoramic views of Port Phillip Bay and the Melbourne city skyline. Situated within the historically significant Point Gellibrand Coastal Heritage Park, the lookout provides a vantage point to appreciate the areas rich maritime past, including the nearby Timeball Tower and the site of Victorias first settlement. While the "lookout" is more of a natural high point, the surrounding park boasts excellent facilities like walking paths, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Its easily accessible by car and public transport. Weather can impact the experience, and a formal viewing platform is absent. Overall, Point Gellibrand Lookout is a worthwhile visit for its beautiful views and historical significance, making it a great spot for a relaxed outing.
