St Georges Road Bike Path - VIC

Keene Mitchell A very nice place to have a straight bike ride along St Georges Road. It is not too hilly as well, but it has some hills, with downhill, which makes it a place that you can go very fast on the bike.

The Grotto - VIC

B P Beautiful to see and worth the stop. The path is about 700 metres and fairly accessible - it is made of wood planks and gravel. You will get a bit of a view down to the grotto from the top, but you will need to go down a fair number of stairs to get the best views.

Hanging Rock - VIC

wombat -v Hanging Rock is a must for visitors. The park provides multiple picnic grounds to select from. Plenty of room to kick a ball. A number of shelters are available with BBQ facilities. Things to do include the ultimate climb to the summit of the rock to be rewarded with the wide vast vista of the surrounding areas of the Macedon Ranges. Ample parking is available at various locations of the reserve. There is an entrance of A$10.00 per car payable at the ticket machine within the reserve. The ticket purchased will be required to exit the reserve. A definite must to see this culturally heritage rock. A great picnic day!

Grampians National Park - VIC

Pranav Modi A Little Slice of Heaven – Twice as Good the Second Time! We’ve just returned from our second visit to Halls Gap, and once again, it completely stole our hearts. If you’re looking for a place that offers peace, beauty, wildlife, and unforgettable experiences, Halls Gap is the ultimate destination. Our first trip was magical – waking up to kangaroos grazing just outside our cabin, the majestic backdrop of the Grampians towering above, and the crisp, fresh air that makes you feel instantly relaxed. We hiked to waterfalls, explored scenic lookouts, and ended each day with incredible food from the local eateries. What really surprised us was how our second visit felt even better. Maybe it’s because we already knew how special it was, or perhaps Halls Gap just has that timeless charm that never fades. This time, we slowed down even more – had cozy picnics by the lake, spotted emus wandering nearby, and even caught a perfect sunset over Boroka Lookout. It’s rare to find a place that makes you feel so at home while still filling you with wonder. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, Halls Gap delivers warmth, beauty, and memories that stay with you. We can’t wait to go back – again and again.

Gibson Steps - VIC

Abid Iqbal Gibson Steps – A Memorable Experience by the Ocean Our visit to Gibson Steps was truly memorable, offering a close and personal view of the stunning Apostles from the beach. The golden sands, dramatic cliffs, and crashing waves create a breathtaking scene that’s absolutely worth visiting. There are a few stairs to negotiate to reach the beach, but the beauty that awaits makes it all worthwhile. A small word of caution: be mindful of snakes in the surrounding area. It’s worth noting there are no toilet or drinking water facilities here, and the beach is unmanned — so come prepared. Despite that, we loved every moment and would happily return to soak in the incredible views and peaceful atmosphere again!

Loch Ard Gorge - VIC

Fahriar Ahmed The view here is truly amazing, and its not far from the Twelve Apostles viewpoint, making it an easy addition to your trip. However, do note that the walking path down to the beach view spot has been closed since last year, so you can only enjoy the stunning view from the top cliff area. The parking is limited but free, so it’s great if you can grab a spot. You can still take in the incredible scenery from the walking track at the end, but if you were hoping to get closer to the beach, thats no longer an option. Still, definitely worth the visit for the panoramic views!
