5 /5 Anna: I had my nails done by Ashley at Serenity Lounge in Hawthorn and I’m so happy with the result! She did such a beautiful job – my nails look clean, neat, and exactly how I wanted them. Ashley is really good at what she does. She took her time, paid attention to every little detail, and made sure everything looked perfect. She also has really good communication. She asked me what I wanted, helped me choose the right shape and colour, and made sure I was happy the whole time. She’s super friendly, easy to talk to, and made me feel very comfortable. You can tell she really cares about her work and wants every customer to leave happy. I highly recommend Ashley if you’re thinking of getting your nails done. If you go to Serenity Lounge in Hawthorn, definitely ask for her – she’s amazing!

2 /5 Ellie Jones: I’m not usually one to post reviews but I have tried this place a few times and am genuinely never going back after this last visit for a mani pedi. I asked them not to use the e file on my nails given I’ve spent several weeks without polish in order to make my nail bed healthy again. She tried to tell me that it was necessary, even though I know it’s not. I’ve been to places where they haven’t filed the nail down to a crisp just for shellac. That is usually necessary for SNS or acrylic. This establishment needs to learn to be considerate of customer requests as it is 100% doable to have shellac without drilling. Unfortunately, my wishes were ignored. Anyways, the application was poor and even though I only got them done a few hours ago, you can see from the photos here that one of them has chipped already. So much for drilling helping them “last longer”. These nails honestly look like I could have done them myself at home. I will not be returning and even though they should fix them for free, I don’t want to risk having my nails filed down even further and for another set of poorly applied nails. 2 stars is purely because I am happy with my pedicure.

1 /5 Cha Cha: Having been a long term customer of Serenity Lounge, Ive come to the point where I will never go back. Cindy is divine and I love her plans for the salon, but unfortunately, for the past three visits I have had an older woman do my nails. Firstly -- despite the fact that I have my own box with tools at the salon, this older woman is too lazy to get it choosing to use the common unsanitised files and buffers instead. Secondly -- this older woman is so rough in her treatment of nails. She keeps the mechanical drill in one position for too long, burning through my natural nail ... and then laughs when I wince in pain. When using the manual file, she extends the file too long cutting into my skin. Then told me it was okay because I wasnt bleeding. This happened for e-v-e-r-y nail. Finally -- she over charged me, to top it all off. Notwithstanding ALL of this, if she did a good job I might consider going back ... but my nails have looked bad each of the past three times. Sorry Cindy -- love you and love your vision, but your workers are letting you down.

5 /5 Siddhi Shah: It was a delightful experience, the staff and the manger was so sweet and polite and welcoming. The place is wonderful, a lot of services to opt from. Really spacious and you get relaxed. We went for a pedicure and it was great.

1 /5 Dilmini Chathurika: I returned for a second visit after a positive first experience, but unfortunately, this time was a major disappointment. The appointment lasted over an hour and ten minutes, and the end result was the worst nail set I’ve ever had. The shape is uneven, the color varies across different nails, and the application is quite poor. I really regret spending $50 for such subpar work. I won’t be returning.
