5 /5 Momo Chang: Stunning forest with fresh creek. We didnt see the platypus but the information board mentions there being some. Lots of ferns along the trail and some beautiful fungus!

5 /5 Tushar Kelkar: Great place to visit for a day trip for a short walk in the forest. It was a hot day when we visited, but in the forest it was cool, comfortable and totally refreshing. Well maintained pathways and a thriving ecosystem with vibrant array of ferns and trees that are really old. Parking lot does get full on great days. Highly recommended to get there early if possible.

3 /5 donna maree: This is a place of stunning natural beauty with a sad recent history of catastrophic bushfires. The Discovery Centre is in such a state of decay its closed. The new tree canopy is overwhelming when you consider 130 perished here. Like so many national parks the tracks are not well maintained, leaving 4x4 drivers at their peril. Theres a few toilets but little else in the way of amenities...Kinglake is a 10 minute drive away.

5 /5 Rosemary Race: Bring your own water, food supplies unfortunately the town has no shops not even a coffee van. Fabulous walks throughout Toolangi State Park and toilets. To know Toolangi wasnt burnt in the bush fires is an experience in Victoria not to be missed. Tree canopies which grows forever prolific birdlife Wildlife habitats and walking trails ferns so tall..as a bush Walker its fascinating lots of photos and overwhelming experience no one wants to miss Thankfully Jordan Crook and his work colleagues from Victorian National Parks Association arranged this exciting walk for myself and 49 other VNPA members.
